Ex-Mythic Entertainment devs announce airship survival RPG Echoes of Elysium

From Resident Evil and Monster Hunter to Street Fighter and more, Capcom has an impressive stable of established IP with a long history of success- though the company, it seems, has some new things in the works as well. One of those things is seemingly a new game called The Descendants.

Starlight Games is a brand new, UK-based development studio, and it has some real video game veterans among its ranks. Furthermore, the new team has hit the ground running, with several titles already at various stages of production.

Overwatch 2 has just released its big blowout trailer for Season 10, named Venture Forth, which shares the name of the game's newest DPS hero, Venture. The prodigal Prince has returned, and his comeback has gone down so well that he is doing it a second time. After his Metroidvania adventures in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which came out in January, gaming's iconic dual-blade wielding royalty is coming back for seconds in The Rogue Prince of Persia, a new 2D action-platforming rogue-lite title, arriving in Early Access on Steam on May 14. Developed by Dead Cells maker Evil Empire and published by Ubisoft, the next Prince of Persia game flaunts a colourful, cartoony art style and features platforming and action combat familiar to the series.

In 2022, Loric Games was founded by Brian Johnson, Ray Soto, and Rob Denton–all former pros at Mythic Entertainment. The team formerly worked on hit titles like Ultima Online, Warhammer Online, and Star Wars: The Old Republic, and fans have been waiting to see what could be coming from the fledgling company.
