fans are in for a treat as a team of talented creators manages to bring one of the game's most haunting characters to life with a shockingly effective animatronic. Introduced in the most chapter of, DogDay has become somewhat of a fan-favorite character given the horrific circumstances of his existence following the events of The Hour of Joy. His iconic design has earned plenty of praise from the community, with many remarking that he would fit right in with the colorful cast of fellow horror franchise.
Posted to X (formerly Twitter) by creators Wicked Makers, the duo spotlighted the creation of their DogDay animatronic, a lengthy process that saw the team 3D-print the character's face, which took over 100 hours, before creating the vertical stage.
A steel pneumatic frame was created used to create the endoskeleton, which was hung in place with various chains and wines given the weight of the massive head. Perhaps most impressive is the massive wall Wicked Makers created that's authentically decorated to look like the cell DogDay is trapped inside within the Playhouse.
Wicked Makers conclude their video by showing off the DogDay animatronic in action, demonstrating how it writhes and squirms against its restraints as its eyes creepily light up. The entire build is impressive in its own right but it even managed to catch the attention of developer Mob Entertainment who praised the creation, describing it as " and noting that creators have outdone themselves again. The community was similarly impressed with many asking whether the DogDay animatronic will eventually be put on display for Halloween.
While DogDay may not be as iconic as Huggy Wuggy, the terrifying plush monster that's often associated with, his introduction in left a lasting impression on many players. Not only is the lore surrounding his betrayal at the hands of CatNap heartbreaking, but his torture and subsequent death are some of the scariest moments in the whole game. After players find him tied up in a prison cell, the last member of the Smiling Critters is swarmed by Ruined Critters who take control of his mind, turning DogDay into an aggressive enemy.
Given the events of 's latest chapter, it remains unknown whether DogDay will return in a future installment. The game's community believes him to be dead but given the bizarre nature of the series, it doesn't take much to imagine him returning in some way or another. Until then, fans will just have to create their own animatronic memorial for the fallen Smiling Critter.

While there may already be plenty of LEGO sets for the universe, two video game-exclusive characters may finally get the due as a joint set. The galaxy far, far away has become known as one of LEGO's standout sets thanks to the brand's blocky aesthetic fitting neatly with the franchise's vehicles and landscapes. Yet while plenty of very obscure characters have been immortalized as LEGO pieces, two iconic heroes have yet to earn the same treatment but this may fortunately be about to change.
After a couple of months of consistent updates for , ConcernedApe has released yet another patch that adjusts the game and while it may not be massive in terms of content, it should make a particular kind of farmer very happy. While the farming RPG may be nearly a decade old, it continues to be one of the best-supported video games in recent memory as its creator continues to listen to the community's feedback. The recent 1.6 Update was one of the biggest expansions to date, so it stands to reason that some bugs need to be squashed.
Gamers all over the world will likely recognize the cake from Minecraft, and while they're certainly not the first to do it, one fan of the game has brought the game's cake to life by baking it in the real world. Minecraft's cake is just one example of the dozens upon dozens of food options available to survival mode players, though it stands out as a food item that can be placed as a block in the world — making it just as useful a decorative item to spruce up a home as it is a method of keeping the hunger bar full.

may be a game solely committed to boots-on-the-ground combat, but one industrious fan has an incredible vision for how space combat and dogfighting could function. While Arrowhead Studios' third-person shooter is riddled with starships and cruisers, even giving players their own Super Destroyer to travel the pathways between planets, it's not actually possible to use these vessels to battle enemies. It may be too much to expect from the developers, given the scale of such an addition, but some kind of space battle mechanic would be amazing, especially if it takes its cues from this fan's video.
may already feature plenty of unique classes for players to enjoy but one fan went a step further by creating one of ' most beloved archetypes for the game. Larian Studios spent years developing its Forgotten Realms RPG so that anyone could complete its sprawling narrative, no matter their character's class, race, or build. While this kind of commitment to balance is no doubt appreciated by the community, those who wanted a little more technology infused with their magic were sorely disappointed to find that such an option doesn't exist.
, one of the longest-running open-world survival games on Steam, is finally launching into 1.0 after over a decade of early access development. While the game's community has fluctuated over the years, the zombie-themed game has retained a healthy playerbase since it first debuted in 2013 thanks to a relatively steady stream of updates and patches by developer The Fun Pimps. Despite the fact that the game's lengthy early access period has turned into somewhat of a meme, the studio is moving ahead with an official launch and its pulling out all the stops.
is already known for pushing out a substantial amount of updates since its launch in February 2024, but developer Arrowhead Studios clarified why it can't push out even more with an excellent explanation. Ever since Super Earth's war against the Terminids and Automatons exploded in popularity, the community has enjoyed a steady stream of patches that both add new content to the game and fix any bugs plaguing the experience. It'd be unreasonable to expect any more from Arrowhead but for those who do want extra updates, it'd be unfair to make such demands.
