Have you struggled to differentiate between Ozumat's inky aura effect and the Blotting Darkness that you need to clear with Cleansing Flux? A new popular WeakAura can help improve visual clarity. Ozumat — Toggle Particle Density WeakAura by Calair Specifically, the WeakAura created by Calair, automatically reduces your particle density at the start of Ozumat's encounter then returns it to a value that you can set in the custom options once the encounter ends.
Liquid is now streaming their initial progression on Mythic Fyrakk and we get a first look at their new mechanics!
Yesterday afternoon, some hotfixes were applied which changes the health on Mythic Fyrakk and his adds! Around 5 PM PST yesterday, before Liquid killed Mythic Tindral, the following hotfixes were applied.
At long last, Team Liquid has defeated Mythic Tindral Sageswift, paving their way towards Fryakk and the end of the Amirdrassil Race to World First! Congratulations! Tindral has been an epic slog, requiring 435 pulls to defeat, surpassing Blackhand (325), Jaina Proudmoore (346), Halondrus (357), and Queen Azshara (359), though not quite reaching Fallen Avatar's 453. Not bad for a penultimate boss! We'll soon find out what kind of a challenge Fyrakk the Blazing will put up, and whether Tindral's difficulty were a fluke or just a stepping stone to the real challenge! More Season 3 Mythic+ Hotfixes have been pushed which affects Everbloom's Berserkers and Throne's Sentinels.
Blizzard has announced upcoming Mythic+ dungeon tuning which buffs Atal'Dazar, while nerfing DOTI and ToT and more!
Mythic Fyrakk was buffed in a hotfix earlier today! As guilds continue to progress on Mythic Tindral in the Race to World First, some hotfixes appear to be doing some last minute tuning to Mythic Fyrakk!
A set of upcoming nerfs to Mythic Tindral has been reported which includes a 20% nerf to boss health.
The Amirdrassil Race to World First has officially begun! Throughout the race, Dratnos & Tettles will be providing Daily Recaps of the events of each day — today's video focuses on the death of Mythic Smolderon, technical difficulties during the race, the raid comps of the top rated guilds, and more.Looking for livestreams, guilds to watch, and analytics to dive into? Check out the Wowhead RWF Coverage Article for the latest lists of streamers, raid coverage, and boss guies. Today's Daily Recap video starts off with Smolderon's demise at the hands of <Liquid>, who took the boss down after 57 pulls of brutal progression. This kill, at the end of their raid night, allowed them to get started on some off stream Tindral experimentation which is always a very valuable bonus in the Race to World First, and sets them up as the frontrunners going into the final two bosses, though of course there could still be hundreds of pulls packed into those last two bosses! Tindral has turned out to be quite the challenging encounter, with its intensity buffed massively from PTR causing it to spam abilities and leading to nasty overlaps pretty much every few seconds. Liquid are making some slow progress through the start of the fight, though they were hindered briefly by a bug that required them to soft reset the instance, during which time they got some M+ done. Echo also ran into some technical difficulties after a frustrating progression plateau, reaching 5% on Smolderon before having a run of bad pulls that ended early in the fight, followed by their Holy Paladin disconnecting. They will need to kill that boss very quickly at the start of their next raid day to stay competitive in the race! Dratnos and Tettles finish off by covering the comps used by guilds so far this tier, which you can check out at Dratnos' tweet:
Team Liquid has pulled ahead as the new leaders in the Race to World First by defeating Mythic Smolderon, the seventh boss of Amirdrassil! Congratulations! Smolderon, who was recently buffed alongside Tindral and Fyrakk, presented a significant step up in challenge, requiring 56 pulls to finally take down on a very scary attempt with only their Protection Paladin left alive at the end! The Amirdrassil Race to World First has officially begun! Throughout the race, Dratnos & Tettles will be providing Daily Recaps of the events of each day — today's video focuses on the official swap to Mythic by the top guilds, Private Auras and its interactions with WeakAuras, the speed of the first six bosses falling, and more.Looking for livestreams, guilds to watch, and analytics to dive into? Check out the Wowhead RWF Coverage Article for the latest lists of streamers, raid coverage, and boss guies. The Race to World First has moved to Mythic difficulty, with both Liquid and Echo entering the raid after several days of splits! Following in the footsteps of <Instant Dollars>, Liquid made very short work of the first 6 bosses before reaching the enrage on Smolderon at 30% and breaking for Mythic Plus due to a bug on the encounter that would hinder further progress. Smolderon's Mythic mechanic also features the Private Auras technology, which in theory prevents guilds from using WeakAuras to automatically assign the four targets an order to soak their orbs. Unfortunately, in practice, the guilds are instead using a macro which then communicates with a WeakAura to accomplish the same thing with slightly more annoyance. Future guilds to fight this boss will almost all do the same, with varying speed of getting all 20 players to be properly set up, in a similar way to Mythic Echo of Neltharion. Dratnos and Tettles aren't thrilled with this state of affairs and hope that Blizzard will either find a way to combat this workaround or instead back off of turning mechanics like this into Private Auras. Finally, Dratnos and Tettles highlight some takes from Jet and Tagzz, urging people to remember the past a little more and not be too alarmed by the first 6 bosses falling so quickly — it's a normal thing for many raids, but we often forget about it by the time the next RWF rolls around!
Dawn of the Infinites: Fall has too much trash count and players have found a way to skip an inefficient pull in the dungeon!
Echo has begun their progression through Mythic Amirdrassil, pushing through Gnarlroot and Igira the Cruel just one pull each! The race is on! Mythic Amirdrassil Race to World First Coverage
Over the last 24 hours, many hotfixes have been pushed to live servers buffing the final bosses of Mythic Amirdrassil!
After 3 long days of splits, Liquid has finally entered Mythic Amirdrassil and we get a first look at their comp which includes a Feral Druid, a sometimes strong but rarely seen specialization in Race to World First group comps.
After 3 long days of splits, Liquid has finally entered Mythic Amirdrassil and we get a first look at their comp which includes a Feral Druid!
The sixth boss of Amirdrassil has been defeated on Mythic difficulty by Instant Dollars of Malganis (NA), taking down Larodar Keeper of the Flame moments ago after 24 pulls! Congratulations! That's 6 of the 9 bosses down in the Amirdrassil Race to World First! Up next will be the first of the final three, Smolderon.
The Amirdrassil Race to World First has officially begun! Throughout the race, Dratnos & Tettles will be providing Daily Recaps of the events of each day — today's video focuses on the defeat of the first four bosses in Mythic difficulty, when the top 3 guilds may enter mythic, and more.Looking for livestreams, guilds to watch, and analytics to dive into? Check out the Wowhead RWF Coverage Article for the latest lists of streamers, raid coverage, and boss guies. Today's Daily Recap video is hopefully the final one before the top Race to World First guilds enter mythic! Dratnos and Tettles begin by discussing the four bosses that have fallen on Mythic Difficulty, with <Instant Dollars> leading the way and smashing through them in impressively low pull counts. Over the next few days it'll be exciting to see how long they can hold onto the lead and if they'll be able to improve on their impressive World 7th from last tier! Liquid appear to be moving towards Mythic soon, as they near the end of their third day of progression and seem to have mostly finished up with splits, though Mythic Plus remains a valuable use of time that they're currently choosing to focus on. Echo still have a few heroic splits and a bunch of heroic Fyrakks to take care of when their third day begins, but they too may be able to enter Mythic by the end of that day. Splits remain a pain point in the Race to World First overall, with Echo's Rogerbrown posting about how he's made it a goal to get Blizzard to take action to get rid of them during the next expansion. Basically everyone agrees splits suck, but actually finding a solution that removes them without worse downsides for either the Race, everyone else, or both!
The fifth boss of Amirdrassil has been defeated on Mythic difficulty by Instant Dollars of Malganis (NA), taking down Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle earlier this evening in 16 pulls! Congratulations to them! Initially, Instant Dollars was working on Larodar and got him down to sub-20%, but they seem to have switched it up this evening and went for Nymue and the swap paid off. Can they pick up a quick Larodar before the night is over?
The Amirdrassil Race to World First has officially begun! Throughout the race, Dratnos & Tettles will be providing Daily Recaps of the events of each day -today's video focuses on the very start of this tier's race.Looking for livestreams, guilds to watch, and analytics to dive into? Check out the Wowhead RWF Coverage Article for the latest lists of streamers, raid coverage, and boss guies. Today's RWF Recap video covers the exciting events of the start of the race — splits, of course! All RWF guilds began with splits, mostly focusing on clearing Normal first on all of their characters before graduating to heroic, where bosses like Nymue and Smolderon began to cause wipes for guilds making use of community helpers to get extra gear. Whether the extra time spent with these helpers to get more loot is worthwhile remains to be seen, but Dratnos thinks it probably is still very worthwhile due to the amount of ilvl that the guilds need to acquire. Mythic Gnarlroot has also fallen to <Blue Shoe> and <Honolulu>, with more guilds likely to begin killing it as they finish their work in the lower difficulties. The boss seems tuned to be a good bridge between the later heroic bosses and the mythic difficulty, but much remains unknown about how quickly the difficulty curve ramps up afterwards. Dratnos and Tettles also cover the controversy around Dream Wardens renown exploits, including characters in RWF guilds that were rolled back and had the rewards removed from their inventories. Dratnos thinks this is a fair and proportionate punishment and hopes that Blizzard will work to establish a consistent pattern of enforcement that makes it very predictable which types of exploits will be actioned and which will be allowed.
The third and fourth bosses of Amirdrassil have been defeated on Mythic difficulty by Instant Dollars of Malganis (NA) tonight, taking down both Council of Dreams in 7 pulls & Volcoross in just a single pull! Could we see Larodar fall tonight as well?
The second boss of Amirdrassil has been defeated on Mythic difficulty by Instant Dollars of Malganis (NA), taking down Igira the Cruel just moments ago! Congratulations to them! Will we see more tonight?
The first boss of Amirdrassil has been defeated on Mythic difficulty by blue shoe of Illidan (NA), taking down Gnarlroot early this morning! Congratulations to them and hopefully we'll see some more Mythic boss kills later today!

We have updated our Dragonflight Mythic+ tier lists for Patch 10.2 and Season 3, ranking all specs by their strengths and weaknesses in the new dungeons. Below we've highlighted our charts for our DPS, Tank, and Healer Patch 10.2 Mythic+ rankings. Should you wish to learn why the specs are ranked as they are, make sure to visit the linked tier list articles to read our explanations. Our rankings take a variety of factors into account--for example, the DPS tier list takes utility and survivability into account, not just damage. We will also be updating these lists regularly throughout Season 3 as class tuning and the meta progresses. DPS M+ RankingsHealer M+ RankingsTank M+ Rankings The DPS M+ list is created and maintained by Dratnos and Tettles, raiders in Hall of Fame guilds <poptart corndoG> and <Vesper> respectively. You can find them at their Twitch and YouTube channels, as well as their podcast, the Titanforge Podcast, which is hosted on the GG WOW YouTube channel. In addition to this raiding experience, both Dratnos and Tettles have extensive experience doing dungeons at a high level and casting the MDI, TGP, and Race to World First. The Healer M+ list is created and maintained by Korimae, multi class healer in World 26th guild <Vesper>. Korimae started pushing M+ in BFA and competed in the MDI, and has since pushed on every class. She has ended in the top 20 of healers for several seasons, streams all of her keys on Twitch and creates educational content on YouTube. The Tank M+ list is created and maintained by Dorki, who has been playing Tank on and off since BFA and primarily Tanked for the Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) and The Great Push (TGP) team Golden Guardian Incarnation in Shadowlands. He completed in every TGP global finals and won Shadowlands season 2 MDI cups against Echo. Some of you may know him as the Bear tank player against all odds in season 4 of BFA. Nowadays you can find his tank content on his stream on Twitch or you can head to his YouTube channel for guides and information on how to improve as a tank.
