Overwatch 2 is undergoing big changes in Season 10, starting with all heroes becoming free. There will also be a new shop for Mythic Skins, announced game director Aaron Keller in the latest Developer Update. It will allow players to purchase previous and current seasonal Mythic Skins, though pricing is unknown.
A new blog post also reveals that players can work towards a Mythic Skin’s progression while leveling up the Premium Battle Pass. “You get to decide how far into each Mythic skin you want to build. So, for example, if you don’t want to fully unlock all of a skin’s color or model variations, you can spread your progression towards other Mythic hero skins.”
Overwatch Coins can also be earned in the next season via the Battle Pass’s free and Premium tracks, with up to 600 per season. Previously doled out via weekly challenges, the latter will now award XP for the Battle Pass. While not a lot, the amount is earnable faster. No more waiting for weekly challenges to refresh or trying to complete them in a limited period.
