Despite having released only two games, the two entries in the beautiful Metroidvania series Ori, Austrian developer Moon Studios is rightly considered among the top studios founded in the 2000s. While the series that put them on the map is not continuing anytime soon, fans of the developer still have something to look forward to, as Moon Studios is working on No Rest for the Wicked, an action role-playing now available in early access. The game is powered by some amazing visuals and solid core gameplay that have the potential to be among the best released in recent times.

Songs of Travel is an animated graphic novel coming to Android on May 9th. It tells the stories of five migrants – Light, Vân, Michele, Hasan, and Olya – each on a journey to build a new life in Europe. Through their experiences, the game explores themes of hope, dreams, and what we hold dear.

Freud’s Last Session puts a powerhouse pair of actors, Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode, in the shoes of two renowned real-life figures, Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis, as they engage in theological debate. But the resultant conversation, based on the play of the same name by Mark St. Germain (who co-wrote the screenplay with director Matthew Brown), would be laughed out of a high school philosophy club. Despite the caliber of its performers — especially Hopkins, who’s in the most fascinating phase of his career with works like The Father and One Life — Brown’s film is an utter dud.

As promised, EA Sports WRC is soon to be updated with one more rally location. The Central European Rally will be added to the game very soon, on 14th December 2023, as part of a free game update.

The Year on the Track in F1 23 examined in-game data that revealed fans’ favorite teams, drivers, locations, and items. Players have completed 73 million races, one billion laps, and have raced over 5.25 billion kilometers. Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Naughty Dog have announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PlayStation 5. It will launch on January 19, 2024. Users who already own The Last of Us Part II for PlayStation 4 can upgrade to The Last of Us Part II Remastered for $10. Save data can also be carried over.

After a bevy of recent leaks, Naughty Dog and Sony have officially announced The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which will bring the acclaimed action-adventure title to the PlayStation 5 in enhanced and expanded form a couple of months from now. Dungeons of Hinterberg popped up during Xbox’s not-E3 showcase over the summer, revealing a beautifully cel-shaded blend of dungeon-crawling, puzzle-solving and relationship-building. Sony has announced that PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium goes live on October 17th in Japan, October 23rd in Europe and October 30th in North America. There will be several titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog to stream, with “hundreds” of PS5 titles to support the same later.

Two months after PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers began receiving invites to a PlayStation 5 cloud streaming beta, Sony has announced the feature will be getting its full launch on on 23rd October in Europe and 30th October in the US.

PlayStation 5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will launch on October 17 in Japan, October 23 in Europe, and October 30 in North America, allowing users to play PlayStation 5 games without having to download them, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.

After a couple of days of furious game developer reactions, game engine company Unity have backtracked a teensy bit on their plan to charge developers who meet certain revenue and copies-sold thresholds a "runtime fee" for every installation of their game.

Yesterday (Tuesday, September 12), it was announced that the game engine Unity will soon begin charging developers a monthly fee based on the number of installs their games have, in a move that has left many indie studios upset and frustrated.

In a rare event that has galvanised skywatchers and sent them scooting for their telescopes and binoculars in order to cacth more than just a glimpse of a new comet that has just appeared. In fact, people all over the world are taking amazing pictures of Comet Nishimura as it travels through space. This comet was sighted for the first time in August, 2023 by a sky-watcher named Hideo Nishimura from Kakegawa City, Japan. He used a regular camera with a special lens to spot it. Finding a comet like this with a regular camera is a big deal because most new comets are discovered with fancy telescopes. This comet is especially important because a strange interaction with a solar storm was spotted.

PAX West was back in full force in 2023. As one of North America's largest video game shows, the popular fan convention allows the gaming audience to sample some of the next big games, and smaller surprises, set for release this Fall and in 2024.
