Apple is working on its next big iOS 17 update which will see the light of day soon. The company released iOS 17.4 with a handful of major changes that affect the general public and developers on a system level. The company finally allows iPhone users in the EU to sideload apps and install third-party app stores. Apple is now working to release its next iOS 17.5 update for the iPhone, which currently rests in the beta phase.

World of Warcraft Classic just locked Lava Lash, it's only normal roleplaying realm in Season of Discovery. With this change, there are no longer any pure RP servers available for new World of Warcraft Classic players to join in Season of Discovery.

After much consideration, the Season of Discovery team has determined that the populations of the Lava Lash (US), Lava Lash (EU), and Chaos Bolt (EU) servers are too low. In order to create healthier communities, Blizzard is closing these realms to new accounts and opening transfers to other realms. Players currently on these realms will have the option to transfer to the Wild Growth PvE or Crusader Strike RP-PvP servers of their respective regions.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace is 25 years old and back in theaters for Star Wars Day (“May the 4th be with you”), inevitably setting off a new round of debate about the movie, the prequel trilogy as a whole, and the current, sometimes frustrating, state of Star Wars media. The updated guidelines, first noticed by 9to5Mac, now say that retro gaming console emulator apps are welcome and can even offer downloadable games. Apple also reportedly confirmed to developers in an email that they can create and offer emulators on its marketplace.
