The generative artificial intelligence (AI) powered chatbot gave people a glimpse of its ability by fulfilling tasks such as answering queries and generating complex content in a matter of seconds. What can take employees hours and days, it managed to finish in minutes. Since then, the AI chatbot has grown by leaps and bounds, with additional features such as Code Interpreter, DALL.E integration, and multi-modal capabilities. And even as it faces stiff competition from other chatbots such as Google's Bard and Microsoft's Bing, ChatGPT continues to dominate and has grabbed a huge market share. But surprisingly, it is not the one which brings in the most revenue!

No matter the fighting game that gamers talk about, there is almost always going to be a question about why a certain character got brought onto the roster. But sometimes, it’s because the fans never expected them to make it into the game and are shocked that they did. For Dragon Ball FighterZ, the team behind it put a lot of effort into ensuring that just about every generation of Z-Fighter made it into it, even if that meant bringing in some “unexpected choices.”

Abilities in are different for Miles and Peter, although certain ones are able to accomplish similar things, such as throwing enemies in the air or dashing toward them. Abilities are equipped and mapped to a button, meaning Peter can have four active abilities at any given time. Earlier this week, Mortal Kombat 1's community was incensed after publisher Warner Bros. Games revealed that it will sell a seasonal Fatality for real-world money. Now, this Fatality is available in the shop with a confirmed price, and players are up in arms once again, with many vowing to boycott the Fatality (and some abandoning the game entirely) because of its cost.

The primary plot of Spider-Man 2 involves Kraven the Hunter, a small army, and a slew of supervillains, but similar to the previous game, Spider-Man 2 encourages players to take time to do other things. In Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, being Spider-Man doesn’t simply mean foiling super-criminals, but using your powers to give back, exercising that Great Responsibility that is core to the character’s ethos. And so, in between confrontations with Kraven and the symbiotic black suit that creeps into the narrative, the player does the everyday work of being a superhero.

As Cities: Skylines 2 players try to figure out what they can do to improve performance, they're coming up with some pretty wild theories about what's wrong - including the idea that the game is rendering every citizen's individual teeth. Developer Colossal Order has addressed that claim, and while it's not exactly wrong, it's not the full truth either.

Amnesia: The Bunker is one of the most terrifying survival horror games out there. As if to poke fun at what scared players earlier this year, developer Frictional Games has now added to the horror.

Today, Frictional Games announced the availability of a new 'Halloween' free update for Amnesia: The Bunker. The patch adds major features to the game for those who've already finished their first playthrough, including a Shell Shock difficulty and a Custom Mode where players may tweak more than 30 settings and parameters to achieve the desired horror experience. One of the additions I like least in Spider-Man 2 is the web wings. The Spider-Man games, in general, have often strived to provide the best facsimile of the protagonist’s preferred mode of transportation, web swinging, so adding something like gliding to the mix is a bit of an affront to me. It’s a personal preference, but thankfully, I can mostly ignore the skill and just get around the old-fashioned way. I often forget it even exists.

Immersive sims like Dishonored or System Shock can be very fulfilling, but they are also oddly stressful. After all, the flipside of the genre mantra of solving problems through imaginative application of the tools is that when you achieve a boring solution, that's all your fault. Did you miss the final jump while trying for a complex, third-storey infiltration in Deathloop, resulting in a sadly non-immersive firefight in the courtyard below? Did you fail to combo those magical abilities and terrain variables as the developers hoped - nay, dreamed you would, forcing you to rely on ye olde cover-shoot tactics to reach the checkpoint? Shame on you! Don't you know how much imsims cost to develop? Go back to Open-Ended Systems School and retake that course in The Power of Choice. Also, consider playing Mosa Lina instead.

Netflix has shocked its fans, again! In a double whammy, first, Netflix launched a crackdown against password sharing on its platform. Now, it has increased the prices of its subscription plans. Earlier, the streaming platform disabled password sharing which resulted in an increase in the number of subscribers. The change led to a jump in subscribers by about 9 million in the third quarter, reports indicate. The price hike will come as a nasty shock to Netflix users as the company has been changing its policies and prices frequently. Check out the new Netflix subscription prices here.

It is always frustrating when you've given a prompt to an AI chatbot, and it will just not give you exactly what you need. Shockingly, it turns out, it is far worse when the AI obediently listens to everything you say! A new research has revealed that OpenAI's generative pre-trained transformer 4 (GPT-4) AI model has multiple vulnerabilities within because it is more likely to follow instructions and that can lead to instances of jailbreaking and be used to generate toxic and discriminatory text.

Amnesia: The Bunker came out earlier this summer to a warm reception from horror fans, and now developer Frictional Games is about to give the game a new boost via its big Halloween update. One of the big additions is the new Shell Shock mode, that provides a particularly tough challenge by making certain key items harder to acquire, increasing fuel demands, and making the Stalker more unpredictable. I’m just as shocked as you’re probably about to be after reading this news. Although I’m pretty knowledgeable on D&D lore, I clearly didn’t know enough about Githyanki. On Reddit, a Baldur’s Gate 3 player finds a huge piece of lore after playing a Githyanki Tav. Tav just means you’re playing the custom Origin character.

I’ll admit I entered my hands-on demo with Assassin’s Creed Nexus with a bit of pessimism – could Assassin’s Creed work as a first-person VR game? And then I found myself repeatedly answering that key question with “Yes!” for an entire hour. Not only does Assassin’s Creed Nexus seem to be a full-featured Assassin’s Creed game that incorporates stealth, combat, and parkour, but from what I played so far, each of those pieces works surprisingly well and comes together to capture the entire assassin fantasy with shocking efficacy. I brought a lot of skepticism onto that demo floor, but by the time I left it I was grinning ear-to-ear.
