In Dragonflight, Professions as we knew them were completely revamped: gone were the days of simply crafting an item in one go; instead, players could craft, recraft, and recraft again the same items over and over in order to produce consistently stronger weapons, armor, trinkets, and profession gear over time. We're closing in on a year since the release of Pokemon Sleep. A game/lifestyle app The Pokemon Company had been radio silent on for so long after its announcement that some of us were convinced it had all been a dream. Pokemon Sleep users have their phones unlocked next to them while they slumber and various Pokemon will be waiting to meet them in the morning depending on their sleep style. There will naturally be some sort of anniversary event announced for Sleep's first birthday, but if you really want to celebrate a year of the game in style, you can do so in an official Pokemon Sleep suite.

There’s an uncomfortable sense among the gaming community, as industry layoff numbers stack up, project after project is cancelled, and as console life cycles slow, that we’re on the cusp of a bit of a video game dry spell. That feeling isn’t totally unfounded - there are very few AAA game release dates announced for the second half of this year, and the AA market isn’t exactly hopping either. All three console communities - Switch, Xbox, and Playstation - are feeling empty on the games front right now, and only the Switch has the excuse of a new box being imminent. And even that’s still technically just a rumor!

With today's announcement of Dragonflight Season 4, Blizzard revealed that all Dragonflight raids will be Awakened starting the week of June 4th, limiting players' opportunities to overgear raids during Season 4. With Dragonflight Season 4 being a Dragonflight «Victory Lap» as Blizzard called it previously, many players were looking to use this extra power to overgear some of the raid content of the season to farm transmogs, mounts, and manuscripts that they ended up missing. However, with the rotation announcement that all raids will be Awakened starting on the 7th lockout of the season, this opportunity is heavily reduced. With this, players will only have four weeks in which each of the Dragonflight raids won't be Awakened. That is unless the Awakened system is different from the Fated system in Shadowlands. Back in Shadowlands, once all raids became Fated, it didn't give players the ability to turn it off. It is possible that Dragonflight's Awakened system will be different, but it is unsure at this point. Some of the rewards affected by this:

Kingdom Death: Monster, among the highest-earning crowdfunded board games of all time, is a rare beast in part because of its price point, which currently stands at $420. It’s also because of production issues, meaning that the game has been out of print for long periods of time ever since its first run in 2015. But if you get the chance to actually play it, as I have, you’ll find the mechanics are quite literally to die for. The base game features complex monsters and elaborate turn-based battles, a potent crafting system, and a fascinating take on colony simulation. Beloved characters will die horribly and often, potentially putting an end to your campaign after scores of hours. Add to that mix dozens of the industry’s most gorgeous multi-part plastic miniatures and you can see why I once called it “the Everest of board games.”

After a lot of questioning and confusing as to what the use of Emerald Chip is, players have finally reached a high enough reputation to find out that they are used to purchase items at Revered and Exalted with Emerald Wardens. This currency is rewarded for completing Nightmare Incursions in Feralas and the Hinterlands, with each quest within the dream awarding 1 Emerald Chip. Prices vary from 50 to 75 Emerald Chip's per item.

Players that purchase the new Emerald Ring from the Emerald Warden Reputation vendors will be in for a pleasant surprise when they activate the on use effect.

The daily quest Fight the Nightmare Incursions is currently awarding 1,000 reputation as reported by /u/DJ_bosse on the ClassicWoW Subreddit. The quest is simple, complete a quest within the dream.

It's a bit of a stretch, but a question in a newly released player survey suggests that Atlus and Vanillaware are at least trying to gauge interest in a potential sequel to Unicorn Overlord — the immaculate strategy RPG that launched just last month.

Players looking to obtain the Shadowflame customization for their Renewed Proto-Drake mount, Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of Shadowflame, have only until the end of Season 3 to do so, as Blizzard has announced that the customization won't be obtainable in Dragonflight Season 4. This is a change from Shadowlands, when Fractal Cypher of the Carcinized Zerethsteed was available from Heroic or Mythic Jailer even during Season 4. With Patch 10.2.6, players have noticed that crafted gear will be slightly weaker in Season 4 than in Season 3. While in Season 3, crafted gear is capped at 3 item levels under max Myth track, in Season 4, it is capped at 6 ilvls under it. This can be seen when looking at Aspect's awakened crests.

We've datamined reputation levels for the Emerald Wardens rewards, a new faction introduced in Phase 3 Season of Discovery. Previous to today's build, we had a general sense of what items are associated with this new faction, but as of the April 1st update, Blizzard has attached reputation level requirements to many items including some we previously didn't highlight, such as Dream Imbued Arrow, Weapon Cleaning Cloth, and Nightmare Resonance Crystal. The original Fight Crab answered a question I never even knew I needed the answer to: what if someone made an an anime arena fighter with hilariously unreliable individual-limb controls, and also every character was a crab? It’s a ridiculously stupid combo, but in the best kind of way – it’s the sort of irreverent, dumb fun that throws every rule of video games out the window for the sake of making you grin from ear to ear. Fight Crab 2 ups the ante with not only with a wider variety of selectable shelled warriors and ridiculous weaponry, but also a new kind of campaign mode that answers an even sillier question: what if it was also like Monster Rancher too?

Hellgate: London was a game ahead of its time in a lot of ways, introducing open-world looter and roguelike mechanics before those things became a hot trend. As such, the game is still remembered fairly well despite not being a huge seller at the time. Well, it seems the series may be coming back, because the original game’s producer Bill Roper has announced an Unreal Engine 5 sequel, Hellgate: Redemption, will be produced through his new studio Lunacy Games. Roper had the following to say about the revival…

Lunacy Games, a studio founded in September 2022 by Hellgate: London creator Bill Roper, has signed a licensing agreement with HanbitSoft to create a new AAA game in the Hellgate franchise for console and PC, the company announced. Codenamed Hellgate: Redemption, the game will be set in an undisclosed part of the franchise’s alternate history, demon-apocalypse world.

Constellation mixes the horrors of space with quantum entanglements on Earth, which is all to say: It gets complicated. After surviving an International Space Station disaster, astronaut Jo Ericsson’s (Noomi Rapace) struggles to comprehend the “hallucinations” bleeding into the faux-normalcy of her domestic world. Which is also to say: It’s a wormhole of complications.

For the past four-years-plus, animal lovers have been able to live out their dreams on PC with Frontier Developments’ acclaimed Planet Zoo, and now, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 owners can get in on the fun. It seems like Frontier has gone the extra mile with this port, as it features full support for both controllers and keyboard-and-mouse, and the ability to share zoos between XSX and PS5. The console port will also have a “zoo complexity meter” which will allow you to keep an eye on the scope of your zoo to make sure performance stays high (very large zoos could get quite demanding on PC). In order to get your Sparks of Awakening in Season 4, players will need to complete a weekly open world quest which seems to rotate from week to week!

We've datamined items related to Nightmare Incursions, the newest PvE Event coming to Season of Discovery in Phase 3. While we can't confirm if all of these items will be available, or exactly how to get them, several of them were previewed in Blizzard's Official Phase 3 Reveal. Players who decide to enter these Nightmare Incursions and take on the corrupted entities will be rewarded with experience as well as Reputation gains with the newest Faction — the Emerald Wardens. There are a lot of new items coming in Phase 3 of Classic Season of Discovery, including several awesome new weapon models! Please note that these are not all of the new weapons coming in Phase 3, just those which have particularly interesting or new appearances! There are also recolors of familiar items like Tooth of Eranikus and duplicate appearances of other items like the Eclipsed Bloodlight Saber, which are not included here.
