Additional Item Tuning in Phase 3 PTR Datamining - Season of Discovery

Blizzard has added tweaks to Seal of Martyrdom for Paladins in the upcoming April 16 class tuning pass for Season of Discovery. Blizzard announced a few days ago that classes would be receiving some light tuning this upcoming weekly reset, and Paladins had a change to Light's Grace's Rune slot to look forward to.

With Light's Grace finally found in Phase 3 Season of Discovery, players have discovered all locations of the new Class Runes! The Wowhead team has been working hard to update all of our guides to reflect the latest discoveries. Now that every rune from Phase 3 has been discovered, you can use Wowhead's guides to collect them all!Light's Grace proved to be the most elusive Rune yet across all phases, taking a full seven days to be discovered. This is a drastic change from Phase 1 and 2, where virtually everything was discovered in the first 24 — 48 hours — this one was a doozy! A large patch of Mythic+ hotfixes have been applied to the Season 4 PTR targeting problem points in Brackenhide Hollow, Uldaman and more!

Blizzard has adjusted two more SoD phase 3 items via hotfixes the morning of April 8th. The first is the Membrane of Dark Neurosis, one of the new Epic Crafting Items players unlocked yesterday. This item received the following changes:

We're reporting on some recent adjustments to the Sunken Temple item set bonuses, including the Paladin set Obsessed Prophet's Plate. Leading up to Phase 3, Blizzard made numerous incremental changes to SoD items via hotfixes, which also included PvP set itemization. Sunken Temple Raid Loot

We've been hard at work datamining all the new changes for Diablo 4's first-ever PTR! As we continue datamining the Phase 3 Season of Discovery PTR, we have come across additional Class Tuning.

Alongside Helltide changes and The Pit of Artificers, Diablo 4 is also getting some new items and Legendary Aspects with the Season 4 PTR. There’s Tyrael’s Might, a new Unique Chest Armor for all classes, which allows all Skills to unleash a “divine barrage” when at full life and Yen’s Blessing, Unique Boots that have a 20 to 30 percent chance to “cast a Non-Mobility, Non-Ultimate Skill” that’s on cooldown once every 12 seconds.

While Datamining Phase 3 Season of Discovery, we've come across two items that are Druid specific. Two popular items that are exclusively used by Feral Druids in World of Warcraft Classic is Wolfshead Helm and Manual Crowd Pummeler. These items are so essential to the Feral Druid DPS Class, they are essentially used until the Dark Portal opens. From datamining, it looks like Blizzard might be introducing two new Druid specific items, effectively replacing Wolfshead Helm and Manual Crowd Pummeler -- Thanks Hathorne for the tip!

Diablo 4's Patch 1.4.0 adds 12 new Unique items to the game! This includes one new Uber Unique and one Unique available to all classes and 10 class-specific Unique items (two for each class)! Diablo 4 PTR Patch Notes: Patch 1.4.0

Blizzard has provided clarification on many topics regarding Phase 3 of Season of Discovery, including future Phase announcement communication, Class Tuning, and skill conflicts with Rune abilities. With Phase 3 less than a week away, players are buzzing with questions regarding newly announced features, as well as datamined information being reported. Datamining for Phase 3 of Season of Discovery has unearthed the Infernal Lasso, allowing Hunters to lasso a Demon or Beast for 24 seconds, but also mentioning that Lassoed Core Hounds may be tamed. This is likely a followup of sorts to the ability to tame Wyverns that was added in Phase 1, but if it is linked to a rune in the same way remains to be seen. If that is the case, expect a fairly length quest leading to this item and the ability to tame Core Hounds. This also raises the question of «Where would I tame a Core Hound?». Originally Core Hounds could only be found in Molten Core and Upper Blackrock Spire, but with Infernal Lasso requiring level 50, neither of those would be tameable. Alongside this, the spell Lava Breath has been datamined. This has potential to be a unique ability for tamed Core Hounds, separating them from Wyverns which were effectively reskinned Wind Serpents.
