Nightmare Incursions Highlight Phase 3 - Season of Discovery

One creative gamer has captured the attention of people worldwide with a custom-designed PlayStation 5 console and controller inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas, a beloved cult classic. Tim Burton’s gloomy but heartwarming movie has touched the hearts of many gamers around the world, with some even deciding to pay tribute to the story of one of the most iconic skeletons in media, Jack Skellington, in various forms of fan art.

Players looking to self-fund their Elixirs and Potions might be interested in the Nightmare Resonance Crystal, a reward from the Emerald Wardens at Exalted. This crystal allows players to pick herbs in Nightmare Incursions without Herbalism — and possibly receive rare gear drops as well! So far, players have confirmed finding Resonating Nightmare Bloom nodes in the Ashenvale incursion, but it's theorized that the Nightmare Resonance Crystal will function similarly in all incursions.

With Light's Grace finally found in Phase 3 Season of Discovery, players have discovered all locations of the new Class Runes! Now that every rune from Phase 3 has been discovered, you can use Wowhead's guides to collect them all!Light's Grace proved to be the most elusive Rune yet across all phases, taking a full seven days to be discovered. This is a drastic change from Phase 1 and 2, where virtually everything was discovered in the first 24 — 48 hours — this one was a doozy! After noting that players heavily preferred to level in Nightmare Incursions, instead of exploring Azeroth or running dungeons, an attempt to promote these other methods has been made. The experience from Incursions has been significantly nerfed — from roughly 7000 experience per quest all the way down to 3000 according to a recent Reddit post. Despite the hopes that buffing Discoverer's Delight from 50% to a new 75% would make the two methods roughly on par, this change does seem to have hit Incursions particularly hard, potentially dethroning them as the fastest leveling option.

The Ace of Nightmares has finally been found, just in time for the Darkmoon Faire to go live tomorrow! The most elusive of the new Phase 3 Darkmoon Faire cards, the Ace of Nightmares is an integral part of the turn-in for the Darkmoon Card: Torment, a new trinket available as of Phase 3 of Season of Discovery. Up until now, no one had reported the location of this card's holder — but, on the eve of the Darkmoon Faire, Wowhead user Rfivealive555 reported that the card drops from Dreamscythe and Weaver in the new Sunken Temple raid! The four new Darkmoon Decks debuting in Phase 3 provide several powerful trinkets after turning them in, including Darkmoon Card: Torment and Darkmoon Card: Sandstorm. With the discovery of the Ace of Nightmares, all the important Ace cards have now been found — so you can theoretically grab the trinket you want this Darkmoon Faire!

World of Warcraft Classic has kicked off phase 3 of its Season of Discovery, bringing with it a host of new content, as well as raising the level cap up from 40 to 50. New content available in Season of Discovery includes six new runes for each class, as well as new PvE content.

WoW Classic Senior Game Producer, Josh Greenfield has confirmed that some bug fixes will be coming early next week. In the first week of Phase 3, Blizzard has observed that players are favoring Nightmare Incursions over other forms of leveling. In order to make additional leveling methods more competitive, Blizzard has announced that they will be increasing the experience buff of Discoverer's Delight and reducing the amount of experience earned from Nightmare Incursions early next week. World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery’s new Nightmare Incursions PvE event uses some old assets from the game’s original Emerald Dream zone idea. After nearly two decades, these old World of Warcraft items are finally getting the chance to see the light of day in Classic Season of Discovery Phase 3.

World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 3’s new Sunken Temple raid is extremely challenging, having walled players with its difficulty far longer than any other in Classic history. For the first time in World of Warcraft, a Classic raid hasn’t been conquered in a matter of hours, making the Sunken Temple one of the hardest raids in it to date.

Players that purchase the new Emerald Ring from the Emerald Warden Reputation vendors will be in for a pleasant surprise when they activate the on use effect.

 Adventurers can now level from 41 to 50, earn up to 10 additional talent points, brave new encounters in the Sunken Temple (Temple of Atal’Hakkar) as a new 20-player raid dungeon, discover new runes and abilities, and more!
