A new Helldivers 2 patch fixes plenty of in-game crashes, after developer Arrowhead had to recommend players let the game "rest" this past weekend due to persistent crashes.

After noting that players heavily preferred to level in Nightmare Incursions, instead of exploring Azeroth or running dungeons, an attempt to promote these other methods has been made. The experience from Incursions has been significantly nerfed — from roughly 7000 experience per quest all the way down to 3000 according to a recent Reddit post. Despite the hopes that buffing Discoverer's Delight from 50% to a new 75% would make the two methods roughly on par, this change does seem to have hit Incursions particularly hard, potentially dethroning them as the fastest leveling option.

The final story decision players will make in involves whether to kill or to spare their custom character's Blade Twin. While there are several choices that may affect the story, like choosing to be pro- or anti-shogunate in , the choice at the end of the Blade Twin boss fight is perhaps the most impactful in the game. As a result, players may want to know what's involved in this choice, and what implications it has for the ending they'll inevitably get.

Helldivers 2 does a fantastic job of straddling the line between being a great game to goof around in with your friends, and delivering actual commentary and world-building about the folly of an oppressive regime. You play as a titular Helldiver, shot down to enemy planets in pods that look like giant bullets — no obvious symbolism there — to fight back waves of nasty Terminid bugs and evil robots. The gameplay is great, but what I’ve come to truly love is the goofy Super Earth propaganda, and how it perfectly encapsulates fascism as a ridiculous ideology that is doomed to fail.

Karma is a rare type of experience you can farm in , helping your character level up fast and earn valuable Skill Points for new abilities. While you can also earn regular XP to improve your character, Rare Skill Points are only offered through a culmination of Karma.
