After a lot of questioning and confusing as to what the use of Emerald Chip is, players have finally reached a high enough reputation to find out that they are used to purchase items at Revered and Exalted with Emerald Wardens.
This currency is rewarded for completing Nightmare Incursions in Feralas and the Hinterlands, with each quest within the dream awarding 1 Emerald Chip. Prices vary from 50 to 75 Emerald Chip's per item.
Oddly, the Nightmare Focus Staff players expected to be available at Exalted is nowhere to be found, and the use for Nightmare Resonance Crystal is still unknown at this time. We may have a mystery on our hands!
