It's clear to those who have played 2020's and 2023's that Basim Ibn Ishaq will play a major role in the series going forward. Basim was introduced as a master assassin as part of the Hidden Ones — the group that would go on to become the Assassin's Order — in, meeting Eivor's Viking clan and offering to help them expand their operations in Norway and England. The series then went back to Baghdad in the year 861 and depicted a 17-year-old Basim's origin story through a smaller, more stealth-focused title in. Here, players followed Basim as he learned new tactics from his mentor Roshan to take down members of The Order of the Ancients, a clandestine group pulling the strings across Persia.

Clash of Clans studio Supercell has announced that its first major game in five years will be released next month.

There are no rules in Moominvalley — or, at least, there aren’t supposed to be. No one can police the wondrous bounds of its nature and the creatures that call the harmonious landscape home. So when a self-appointed Park Keeper and his goon squad of police officers start setting up manicured parks with groomed hedges, gates, and — worst of all — rules, Moominvalley starts to fall into chaos. Everything that was once good and peaceful is disrupted. When Snufkin returns from an adventure in a distant land, Moominvalley is unrecognizable and his best friend Moomintroll missing, having been arrested and tossed into a cage while trying to stop this downfall.

Despite military sim series Arma and its zombie survival spin-off DayZ having their de facto home on PC, developers Bohemia Interactive opted to snub us keyboard-and-mousers for their post-DayZ game Vigor. The free-to-play survival shooter hit early access on Xbox way back in June 2018 - almost six years ago - and subsequently made its way to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is gearing up for a worldwide release on March 21, marking the end of its limited beta phase through 2023. Genvid has released a new trailer for Silent Hill: Ascension, the interactive streaming series based on Konami’s psychological horror franchise. It’s about two families in two locations – Hope’s Junction in Pennsylvania and Stilledalen in Norway – as they deal with the deaths of those close to them. Check it out below.

The big return for the Silent Hill franchise is upon us. Fans for the IP had waited for what felt like an eternity to get their hands on a new game. Konami had kept this franchise dormant ever since the split between Hideo Kojima and the studio. That departure resulted in Silent Hills being scrapped. But last year, we got word of Silent Hill making a massive return with several video game projects in the works. Our first game back into the IP is coming at the end of this month with the release of Silent Hill: Ascension. Today, a new premiere trailer was released, giving us more insight into the interactive series.

Microsoft has finally done it — nearly two years after first revealing plans to acquire gaming giant Activision Blizzard in a mammoth $68.7 billion deal, it has managed to secure the final regulatory clearance required to make Activision a fully-fledged subsidiary. But with one notable caveat.

Sony has announced that PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium goes live on October 17th in Japan, October 23rd in Europe and October 30th in North America. There will be several titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog to stream, with “hundreds” of PS5 titles to support the same later.
