Publisher Bohemia Interactive has had a large impact on PC gaming over the past decade or so, with major genre-defining titles like Arma and DayZ to their name. But did you know Bohemia also has another major game it’s currently supporting that’s never been on PC? Initially released back in 2019, the free-to-play Vigor has attracted over 20 million players on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch, but it's never been released on PC. Why? Honestly, I don’t know! Obviously, not every game has to come to PC, but Vigor is the type of experience that specifically does well on the platform, so it doesn’t make much sense.
Well, hey, it seems Bohemia Interactive have come to their senses, because they’ve announced Vigor is finally coming to PC next month. Bohemia Interactive hosted a livestream showing off the game on PC and answering some questions, which you can check out below.

While Vigor is a free-to-play title, those who want to play in Early Access can purchase the “Reinforcements Pack” which includes a variety of items and will set you back $20. During their livestream, Bohemia also clarified that the PC version of Vigor will have Easy Anti-Cheat and that full crossplay between PC and consoles is being worked on for this year (cross-progression, on the other hand, isn’t).
For those who haven’t played Vigor, it’s very much in line with other Bohemia Interactive titles – that is to say, it’s a fairly hardcore open-world survival-shooter game – with the key differences being that it’s free-to-play and has an interesting post-war Norwegian setting…
“Join the game that has been played by over 20 million players and explore the harsh and unforgiving Outlands, the shattered remains of what was once Norway. Utilize any means necessary to survive. Set in a post-apocalyptic atmosphere in the early 90s, the landscape of the Outlands is as deadly as it is beautiful, so be careful out there.”
Vigor is currently playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Switch. The PC version of the game launches in Steam Early Access sometime in May.

One Fallout 4 player has created a lifelike player character version of Norm, the younger brother of main character Lucy MacLean from the games' Amazon Prime streaming television adaptation. While Fallout 4 and other games in the series have been getting more attention since the release of the television series, Norm hasn't been the character on most players' minds when they're starting up a new run.
Hasbro has seen unprecedented success in gaming with Baldur’s Gate 3, so it’s no surprise that the company is planning on greatly expanding its presence in the AAA space. The company has already confirmed that it’s in discussion with multiple potential external partners for Baldur’s Gate 4 (with Larian Studios having confirmed it’s focusing on its own IP for its next projects), while Hasbro-owned Archetype Entertainment is also working on a new AAA sci-fi RPG in the form of Exodus. Beyond that, speaking in a recent interview with GamesIndustry, Dan Ayoub – who’s the head of digital product development at Hasbro-owned Wizards of the Coast – revealed new details on another major project in the works at the company.
The last time we wrote about Distance was just under a decade ago, when it was announced the game was coming to PS4. In the intervening years, the high-intensity arcade racer has been through a prolonged stint of early access and had its full launch on PC, but the PS4 version never surfaced. Now, thanks to a Trophy list appearing online, it seems the title is finally approaching the finish line — and it's coming to PS5 as well.
Magic: The Gathering’s recent set of Fallout-themed cards is the franchise’s “best-performing Commander set ever” said Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks. The announcement, made Wednesday during an earnings call with investors, brings attention to the potential of the trading card games’ ambitious Universes Beyond initiative. But it also highlights the risks of working with IP licensed from other companies.

This is not a drill: Team Fortress 2 has received a brand new update in 2024, and fans are ecstatic, despite the patch notes themselves being very brief.
Valheim developer Iron Gate Studio have been teasing the new Ashlands biome for a long time, since early 2023 at least, and lo and behold, it’s finally arrived! The Ashlands are a rather interesting mashup of spooky land of the dead and volcanic themes, with plenty of lava and twisted monstrosities to deal with. The pleasant scenery of earlier Valheim biomes has definitely been left far behind. You can check out a quick trailer for Ashlands, below.
The latest Valheim trailer showcased the new biome and content in the Ashlands update. The developer, Iron Gate Studio, says that the Ashlands is the second-to-last biome in Valheimand is progressively more difficult than the previous ones. Because of that, the studio recommends that rusty players practice a bit before hopping into the Ashlands or even adjust the difficulty in the World Modifiers menu.
NovaSoft Interactive has just dropped a new point and click escape room title called Aurora Hills: Chapter 1 on Android. With over four million installs under their belt from the previous Meridian 157 series, this is yet another brain-bending adventure from them.
In what is a frankly unbelievable move, Bandai Namco has managed to secure iconic — and heavily memed — 2000 trance track 'Sandstorm' for its new Sand Land trailer. Honestly, it fits quite well, but we're still in disbelief that the marketing team actually went and got this done. We can only assume that Darude, the original DJ behind Sandstorm, is a massive, diehard fan of the manga and anime property. A dream come true, we're sure.
