Warner Bros has announced the release date for its upcoming movie Mortal Kombat 2.

The Warner Bros. crossover brawler will be getting a new PvE Rifts mode when it relaunches later this month. The solo and co-op mode moves away from the PvP modes found in the early access version of the game and is meant to teach new players the mechanics of the game, as well as letting veteran players hone their skills.

Iconic slasher movie villain Jason Voorhees is set to appear in more games in the future.

The crossover throwdown of MultiVersus will return to officially launch on the 28th of May, Warner Bros. announced today. The return will come almost a year after they closed its open beta, which ran for a striking 11 months.
