Off The Pilfered Path is one of the more complicated quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Like most quests, the game really doesn’t explain what you need to do — and you can fail this quest spectacularly if you’re not playing carefully. This quest is only unlocked after completing a different quest to clear out the Coral Snakes Camp on the road to Bakbattahl. In that quest, you’ll meet the character Hugo who’s captured at the end and locked in jail. While exploring Bakbattahl, you’ll be contacted to try and locate the hidden location of the Coral Snakes boss — and the rest of the quest gets complicated. Getting Hugo to talk is a real challenge that requires patience. Here’s what you need to do. And even if you do something wrong, it is possible to complete this quest anyway.

Jokers are the beating heart of Balatro. Whilst there are many ways to gain power in Balatro, the most direct is to simply buy an assortment of powerful Jokers that synergise in some way. Heck, just having access to high-quality Mult cards can be enough, and that’s where Balatro’s legendary banana enters the conversation.

Playing every round in Balatro to earn the required cash to enhance your deck is the most obvious way to beat the game. At least, that’s would one would assume. In reality, the path to victory can take an assortment of mysterious turns, and skipping Blinds is sometimes the correct choice.

The latest rendition of the Rebirth Island map brings several new easter eggs to uncover in Warzone. One of these easter eggs takes you to multiple parts of the map to complete a series of tasks in order to gain access to a unique weapon Blueprint. In the main building at the Industry Point of Interest in Sector G3, you will find the Redacted Blueprint for the DG-56 Assault Rifle locked behind a glass case.

Balatro has well over 100 Jokers to find, unlock, and collect. Each Joker is a unique blend of mechanics and interactions that help mould your run into something truly unique every time you boot the game. Whilst rarity doesn’t necessarily translate to power directly, rarer Jokers do tend to have more complex mechanics.

The Keycard Easter Egg makes its return to Rebirth Island in Warzone’s Season 3 Update. This small quest was first introduced back during Call of Duty: Vanguard’s rendition of the beloved Resurgence map and tasks players with finding 3 keycards, each of which can open a Vault found near the southwest coast of the island. While it remains mostly the same as its previous iteration, there are a few changes that both returning and new players will want to know about so that can get all of this high-tier loot which includes Cash, Perk Packages, Advanced UAVs, and Loadout Drops.

Progressing through the Antes in Balatro requires you to upgrade your deck. This can be through the addition, alteration of cards, or the powering up of specific hands. One of the best ways is to purchase Jokers – powerful cards that can bestow a wide range of modifiers. 

Getting through a run of Balatro is no easy feat. The game rapidly scales in difficulty, and if you aren’t prepared, prepare to be mocked. If you want to emerge victorious, you will need to muster every advantage, whether that be via Jokers, Planets, Tarots, or Spectrals. It also helps if you have an understanding of modifiers. 

Balatro is chock-full of things to unlock and secrets to uncover. One such secret is the mysterious – and seemingly useless – Blank Voucher. This Voucher will appear in the Shop almost every run and it does nothing. Well, it does nothing at first. What initially appears to be a useless money sink hides one of the most powerful effects in the game.

There are a total of five endings to unlock in Alone In The Dark (2024) and we’re going to show you how to get them all. Dragon’s Dogma 2 has some aggravating quests, but none of them are as stressful as ‘Spellbound‘ and ‘The Sorcerer’s Appraisal‘ — two quests that make you track down books that are some of the rarest items in the game. These books look like any other spell tome at first glance, but they’re far more valuable and most only have a single copy. You’ll have to search every corner of the map to get six of these Grimoires, much less all ten. Portcrystals are the most valuable items in Dragon’s Dogma 2. These portable blue crystals can be placed anywhere on the map and they’re the only method for fast-traveling in the game. By placing a Portcrystal, or using one of the two rare permanent Portcrystal locations, you can instantly portal by spending a Ferrystone. Ferrystones aren’t cheap, but they’re worth it when travel can take so, so long. If you’re looking to grab the maximum amount of Portcrystals you can place anywhere on the map — but seriously, you’ll really need to place one in Bakbattahl and on the Volcanic Island — then here are six ways to get yourself extra Portcrystals.

There are many ways to improve your deck in Balatro, and nearly all of them are a valid focus of any given run. Planet Cards can enhance your played hands, Tarot Cards offer a variety of small benefits, and Jokers drastically change how your deck plays. The rarest form of enhancement, however, is the Spectral Card. 

You won’t get far in Balatro if you don’t augment your starting deck. Even the best decks in Balatro struggle to go beyond Ante 2, so you better get your butt in gear if you want to succeed. There are many ways to gain power in Balatro, but one of the more interesting is through the use of Tarot Cards.

By visiting the NPC Morris in the back of the village, you’ll learn that a child named Rodge has gone missing. Nobody knows exactly where he’s gone, but everyone has general directions where you need to go. Saving Rodge isn’t easy if you don’t know what to do, so let’s just get into it.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 often dumps a quest in your lap and doesn’t explain how to solve it. The quest ‘Hunt for the Jadeite Orb‘ is one of those quests. Vocations are everything in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and two of the earliest vocations you can unlock are the Warrior and the Sorcerer. Very early in the game, you’ll reach the capital of Vernworth — and here you’ll be able to unlock additional vocations by completing a quest for the Vocations Guild. You don’t even need to complete the quest — as long as you bring the Vocation Guild a Greatsword and an Archistaff, you’ll be able to unlock these vocations.

If you’re like us, you just can’t put down the Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator. We’re spending hours making our characters and pawns perfect, and thankfully your choices are not set in stone. It’s that time again. Persona 3 Reload has sent another Full Moon, and with it, you are tasked with hunting down a powerful demon. Unlike other Full Moons, you are not expected to trundle through a dungeon or face a monster corridor. Instead, you are tasked with solving a mystery in a spooky hotel. 

Reaching the 60th floor of Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload is a feat worthy of praise, however, the game merely greets you with another boss. Fleetfooted Cavalry is the latest in a long line of bosses. Unlike most bosses, however, Fleetfooted Cavalry is a single entity. That’s right, no pesky minions to lend a hand for this chap.

Chocobo Races have been completely revamped in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth — instead of giving you almost no control over your chocobo, you’re now directly in the driver’s seat. Chocobo Racing has more in common with Mario Kart 8 than the original game. There are three levels of race tracks you’ll unlock, and the final stage is a grueling series you’ll need to finish in one sitting. The reigning champion won’t go down without a fight, and we’ve got a few tips to help you crush this ridiculously challenging quest. Leveling up won’t help you here. All you can do is get good at Chocobo Racing.

There’s plenty of EXP to go around in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Just by playing the game normally and completely all the side content, you’ll level up to what you need to be to overcome almost every challenge. There’s on major exception to that rule though, and if you’re eager to beat the biggest challenge in the game after the credits roll, you’ll need to gain about twenty levels total. That’s a lot of grinding — but there are ways to make all that grinding a lot easier. Here’s what you need to do to reach max level a whole lot faster.

Weapons are totally free if you can find them in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. While Buster Sword-ing through each chapter, you’ll find rare purple chests in dungeons and other story-specific areas. These chests contain unlockable weapons, which in turn unlock unique weapon abilities. These weapons don’t just increase your stats. By equipping a weapon and using its unique weapon ability over and over, you’ll eventually master that ability, permanently unlocking it for your character.

The final boss of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a doozy. There’s a series of Chapter 14 bosses waiting for you at the end of the story, and they get increasingly difficult — it can take upwards of an hour or more to fight them all, and some phases of the boss can wipe your party in an instant. In honor of Pokémon Day 2024, Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet announced three consecutive week-long 7-Star Tera Raid events: Ground Tera Type Venusaur, Steel Tera Type Blastoise, and Dragon Tera Type Charizard.

Intimidating Legendary Fiends haunt every region in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth – and these optional bosses aren’t going down without a fight. There are six regions to explore in Rebirth, and by completing Region Intel you’ll eventually unlock the location of a Legendary Fiend. Each fiend is a boss in its own right and defeating them is a chore that’s well worth completing.

The further you climb in Persona 3 Reload, the more mechanics are introduced. While status ailments have been circulating battles for a while, it’s not until your fight with the Lascivious Lady and her underlings that they become heavily incentivised. To overcome this boss, using her buddies against her is highly advised. 

After each Full Moon in Persona 3 Reload, Tartarus will open a new host of floors for you to explore. As you progress the game gets more difficult, and every few floors, you will be forced into a tricky boss encounter. Your first Tartarus boss after beating Emperor and Empress is Servant Tower (and their lackeys).

The further you climb Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload, the closer the gloves get to being completely off. Clairvoyant Relic is your first real challenge, and if you go in unprepared, this solo encounter will devastate your team and leave you well and truly dead. That being said, they are not insurmountable and lessons can be learned from this tricky encounter that will help you in future battles. 

Full Moon’s are serious business in Persona 3 Reload. You are given ample warning when one is on its way, and if you aren’t prepared, you can soft-lock your progress. If you haven’t kept multiple save files, you might even bork your game entirely. Prepare for these major encounters.

Summons are powerful allies you’ll unlock as early as Chapter 2 in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. When a battle drags on long enough, a Summon Meter will appear and count down to the moment you can bring a big bad Summon to join the battle. Every character has one Summon Materia slot – and summons enhance your stats when equipped.

Part of what makes a game like Helldivers II so addictive for its growing list of dedicated players is the fact that there are so many viable strategies to use with your own individual playstyle. I recommend waiting until you’ve finished the story before even thinking about taking on the bosses on Gilgamesh Island.

We’re almost at the end of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The Temple of the Ancients is packed with boss fights, and the Chapter 13 bosses are some of the toughest in the game. We’re at the penultimate chapter, so you’ll want to fully prepare your entire party for action — you’ll want to stock up on Mist Potions, Phoenix Downs and unlock those Level 3 Limit Breaks. Some classic bosses return this time around, and you’ll have to take on all the Turks with characters you might not be using as often. Take an extended trip through the Corel Mountains with two big bosses in Chapter 7. In this section, we’re taking on the Custom Valkyrie and the Gigatrice — the Custom Valkyrie similar to a boss encountered late in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The flying drone spews flames all over the arena, before cooling off to recharge. When it’s cooling, that’s your best shot to really damage this monster. The Gigatrice is even more complicated — the monster summons tornadoes that can be imbued with elemental magic. Hit those tornadoes with fire, thunder, blizzard or aera to transform them into swirling damage-dealing weapons. Lure Gigatrice into its own tornado to knock it out of the sky. Another silly sequence gets a total remix in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth — Hojo’s beach vacation gets dark when he summons his Grasptropod to kidnap your party. After earning points and unlocking new outfits for a little summer fun, the Grasptropod interrupts and starts snatching black robed men. This mechanical monstrosity is your only real threat in Chapter 6 and leads to recruiting Yuffie. She’ll help out and make a seemingly impossible boss easier.

Jenova makes a big splash on the Shinra-8 cruise ship in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The short boat sequence from the original FF7 gets a total overhaul and an impressive new boss. Down below you’ll battle mutated robed men before facing off against Jenova herself. This monstrous reincarnation is the stuff of nightmares, but don’t let her frightening appearance freak you out. This Jenova can be beaten — and here’s a few tips to help you overcome the odds.

Take on Roche for one big rematch in Chapter 4. This is an eventful section of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, sending your party to the militarized city of Junon. After the inciting events of the parade, Cloud will lead a team of Shinra Troopers deep into the depths of the walled city. If you manage to keep all your Shinra buddies alive, you’ll earn a collectible for the museum in later chapters, too. But the big problem is Roche. Before leaving the city, you’ll need to take on the motorcycle-riding maniac in a special arena.

Barret’s backstory is revealed in an emotional solo boss battle against Dyne in Chapter 8 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The gunman has lost his mind after losing everything to Shinra and now Barret has to take care of him. If you’ve been skipping Barret and don’t have his weapon abilities unlocked, this can be a much more difficult fight. Make sure to use Maximum Fury to make this tough battle a lot easier in the second half. Next, you’ll face off against Shinra Executive Palmer in a throwdown with the Anuran Suppressor. The bouncing frog-shaped robot can be stunned with Synergy Abilities or after smacking Palmer during one of his taunts. Chapter 11 has more bosses per capita than any other sequence so far in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. There are five unskippable bosses in or around the Nibel Region — and they’re all loaded with weird gimmicks. Some of them switch affinities and unleash different types of attacks, either magic or physical, while you’re forced to fight solo. Others become immune to certain types of damage, forcing you to swap strategies on the fly. And the less said about the final boss of the chapter the better. This series of bosses will test all of your skills and force you to use under-utilized characters like Cait Sith extensively. If you haven’t been playing with Cait, you’re going to have to get used to him fast.

The toughest bosses in the game so far appear in Chapter 9 — both Specimen H1024 and Crimson Mare Mk. 2 can wipe your party if you don’t target their weaknesses. You’re stuck using specific characters for both boss fights, so don’t rely on your usual strategies. You’ll need to change things up and reset your Materia for the best chance at survival. Bring Ice Materia for the first fight and Fire Materia for use against Scarlet herself. The Specimen will slowly absorb more Mako until it unleashes a killer attack that hits your entire party — there’s no dodging this, you’ll just have to suppress it by dealing high damage while it attempts to absorb. Interrupting it is your only option. The Crimson Mare has a similar mechanic. If you don’t destroy both arms of the mech (before one is repaired) then she’ll continue to hammer you with deadly attacks. Try dealing damage to both equally before quickly crippling. Return to the Gold Saucer and take on a series of tough bosses in the Chapter 12 Arena. All the bosses are back in this bonus round — you’ll fight Don Corneo, the Turks and even President Shinra himself in one big throwdown. The Turks are exactly what you’d expect and haven’t changed much since their initial appearance, but Don Corneo is full of dirty tricks.

Unlocked in Chapter 12, Cloud and friends will gain access to the Tiny Bronco. This airplane-turned-boat gives you the ability to freely roam the Meridian Sea, and with this new freedom is a quest to hunt down lost pirate’s treasure. Located on the dock of Costa Del So, the treasure chest contains a map with four lost locations. There’s a powerful fiend at each grotto guarding a valuable treasure.
