Among the most interesting vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2, and the series as a whole, is the Mystic Spearhand vocation. Like most advanced vocations, however, the Mystic Spearhand vocation has to be unlocked first before the Arise can change to it.

Vocations are everything in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and two of the earliest vocations you can unlock are the Warrior and the Sorcerer. Very early in the game, you’ll reach the capital of Vernworth — and here you’ll be able to unlock additional vocations by completing a quest for the Vocations Guild. You don’t even need to complete the quest — as long as you bring the Vocation Guild a Greatsword and an Archistaff, you’ll be able to unlock these vocations.

There’s a hidden village you can unlock very early in Dragon’s Dogma 2 — or you can miss it entirely if you’re not talking to everyone in Vernworth. One of the best locations for archers is also shrouded in secrecy. A secret Elf enclave is located in the deep forests to the northwest of the capital, but outsiders aren’t allowed inside.
