Despite vowing to work on the issues, and owing players who bought their $100 deluxe edition two promised post-launch heroes, some are still waiting for what they were promised for their purchase.

The physical 'Deluxe Edition' of Baldur's Gate 3 was scheduled to ship this month, but it's been hit with an unfortunate delay. As outlined by developer Larian on social media, the delay will specifically impact PS5 and Xbox buyers in North America, and it's down to «production issues» which are apparently out of the studio's control.

Baldur's Gate 3's extremely tempting PS5 physical Deluxe Edition was revealed in September and almost immediately sold out, with the expansive RPG launching first as a digital-only title. Demand convinced developer Larian Studios otherwise; the first round of orders is due to leave warehouses by the end of April. Publisher Bandai Namco and developer ILCA will release One Piece Odyssey: Deluxe Edition for Switch on July 25 in Japan and July 26 worldwide, the companies announced.

Larian Studios has confirmed that the physical Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3, featuring a physical version of the game, has begun shipping for PC pre-orders. The console versions will start between April and May, with “production issues” causing a slight delay.

Baldur's Gate 3's Deluxe Edition copies should finally start shipping out now - as long as you've bought it on PC. Anyone who placed an order for a console version of the Deluxe Edition will have to wait at least another month, as the new expected shipping date on PS5 and Xbox Series X is between April and May.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's Deluxe Edition, which includes the upcoming Battle Pass alongside the base game, is currently down to $59.99 for PlayStation 5 users. That's a $40 drop in price compared to its $99.99 MSRP, and $10 cheaper than its standard edition which is still $69.99 on the PlayStation Store (this is also available at the same prices in the UK).

At yesterday’s Xbox Partner Preview, in addition to showcasing new gameplay for The Alters, 11 bit studios also revealed a new trailer for Frostpunk and confirmed a July launch date for the highly anticipated city building survival sequel’s PC version.

Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance is now available for pre-orders across PC and the last two console generations, with its newly surfaced listings also offering a detailed look at the contents of the game's Deluxe Edition. Rocksteady Studios has been forced to pull Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League offline just one hour into its Deluxe Edition's early access launch due to a bug that automatically completed players' games.

Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on February 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. However, those who purchase the Deluxe Edition for $99.99 can start on January 30th. Stay calm everyone, it's happening, and it's happening to more of us than we anticipated. There had been rumblings for a while that Baldur's Gate 3 will be getting a physical release, but initially those rumblings pointed to the massively popular RPG only being available physically in Japan. Larian Studios hinted that more than just Baldur's Gate 3's Japanese fans would be getting a physical release earlier this week, and now it has confirmed everyone will have the chance to own a physical copy of the Dungeons & Dragons game via its Deluxe Edition.
