Alone in the Dark Deluxe Edition Highlights 1992 Character Models

Insomniac Games has released a public statement in response to layoffs at the studio announced this week by parent company Sony Interactive Entertainment.

The new Alone in the Dark arrives in only a few short weeks, and publisher THQ Nordic has dropped a new trailer, showcasing some of its unique features. Much like the classic Resident Evil 2, players can play through the game as one of two different characters, Edward and Emily, with the experience changing based on which one you pick. The trailer shows how even character interactions will change based on who you play as. We also get a further look at Derceto Manor and its colorful cast of characters – it seems like interacting with them will be what really sets Alone in the Dark apart from your typical Resident Evil wannabe fare. Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance is now available for pre-orders across PC and the last two console generations, with its newly surfaced listings also offering a detailed look at the contents of the game's Deluxe Edition. The standard and premium versions of Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance will be priced at $59.99 and $69.99, respectively.

Pieces Interactive’s Alone in the Dark is out next month for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC after delays, and serves as a reboot for the legendary horror series. Set in the 1920s, it sees investigator Edward Carnby venturing to Derceto Manor with Emily Hartwood to investigate her uncle’s mysterious disappearance. However, strange things are afoot.

Pre-orders are now available for Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance, the critically acclaimed 2021 RPG from Atlus. Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox players can pre-order physically and get a lovely Steelbook, while digital pre-orders are available for all platforms except for the Switch (which is getting more details later).
