Arrowhead Game Studios CEO, Johan Pilestedt, confirms that the studio is looking into potentially adding a color change customization feature for the various armor sets available in Helldivers 2. It's been a series of high and lows for the development team at Arrowhead Game Studios, as Helldivers 2 became an absolutely massive hit with both critics and fans after the game's launch. However, the rapid growth resulted in major problems including crashes, server instability, and login issues which have plagued the overall experience for many.

Xbox's February update is rolling out to players globally, featuring improvements for those who own an Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and, this time, mobile devices.

The Sims 4 has added vitiligo to the game in a recently added Sims Delivery Express update, making it possible for every gamer to use these customization options for free. The Sims 4 is nearly a decade old but is still frequently updated. The developers try to implement as many requested features as possible, especially if their purpose is to make the game more inclusive. The Sims 4 is a life simulator, and it's not all about making up stories for a household of Sims and the people surrounding them, it's also about being able to be authentic and feel comfortable in one's own skin.

While the character customization at the beginning of Skull and Bones is well designed thanks to the water’s reflection and shipwreck environment, it fails to let you see your entire character. You should save your time because there’s a much better character customization waiting for you after the tutorial.

Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive’s MudRunner line of games has garnered its fair share of fans by now, and soon, it’ll be returning with another outing in the form of Expeditions: A MudRunner Game. The Manuscript of Endless Possibilities Drakewatcher Manuscript can be earned during the Burning Crusade-themed Dragonriding race event in World of Warcraft, which ends on January 31.

Destiny 2 is finally adding a feature so essential to MMOs that it's still baffling to think it didn't already have it: the option to redo your character's look anytime, anywhere. 

Earlier this month, developer Bethesda Game Studios revealed on the Starfield subreddit that it was working on new ways to travel, mod support, and more for the game. Now, the company has expanded on its 2024 plans for Starfield in a new end-of-year update, including additional ship customization.

Baldur's Gate 3's latest patch adds over 1000 fixes, quality-of-life features, and customizatioon options. With this latest update, Larian Studios continues to improve on what we already consider to be a landmark achievement in modern RPGs.

The latest update to Baldur’s Gate 3 update is here, and it’s another big one. Patch 4 includes over 1000 fixes and tweaks, refining combat, quests, and eliminating various blockers. It also includes some new features, including the ability to dismiss dead Avatars to Withers' Wardrobe, hireling appearance customization, a colorblind mode, better AI for your dog, and, very importantly, the ability to buy nude statues of yourself. Curiously, the patch notes don't mention it, but it seems like FSR 2.2 support has also been added to BG3. Here are some of the main new features included in Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 4…

Larian Studios has released the fourth major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3, containing over 1000 fixes and some new features. Three Colorblind Mode settings are available – protanopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia – which change the colors of portrait frames, character outlines, map icons and more. You can also now customize the appearance of Hirelings and dismiss dead avatars to Withers’ Wardrobe.

Embers Adrift added Alchemy with the latest update, letting you use Ember to empower your combat skills in new ways. The update also added new customization options, including new hair, and an updated roadmap.

At today’s Xbox Partner Preview event, Microsoft offered a first look at several games on their way from third-party publishers. The event offered an extended look at intriguing side content featured in the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

A newTekken game means a continuation of the story, the longest-running per Guinness World Records, but Bandai Namco offers even more with Tekken 8. Call of Duty players are counting down the days before they can finally get their hands on the latest installment. We know the next game will continue on the Modern Warfare series, so while we wait for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III to launch into the marketplace, we have a new marketing trailer to check out. In the latest Patch 10.2 PTR build, the Mythic Fyrakk mount Anu'relos, Flames Guidance has also been datamined as a new Druid customization option! We previously datamined the Mythic Fyrakk Mount, Reins of Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance but it also seems that this mount has a special unlock bonus! When you get this unlock, you unlock a «Full Transformation» for Druids. In other words, it seems like once you get this mount, Druids will be able to transform into this creature!

NetherRealm Studios has leaned heavily into the outfits and gear of their characters in their last few entries with the likes of Injustice 2 having gear that even changed the stats of a character while Mortal Kombat 11 gave you the ability to customize just about every aspect of a character with a seemingly endless amount of cosmetics. The studio’s latest outing, Mortal Kombat 1, once again has a customization system and players will want to know how it works before they start playing dress-up with the expansive roster of Kombatants. Sonic Team and Arzest shared some new information on Sonic Superstars during TGS 2023, including for the new Battle Mode. As revealed in the trailer, the mode supports up to four players locally (and can be played with bots) or eight players online. You can either make a room or join one when playing online. Ahead of the Made by Google event, which is expected to launch the Google Pixel 8 series and the Pixel Watch 2, Google has rolled out a big redesign for its Fitbit app, and it can be potentially a game changer for users with its new customizable windows, better data viewing, and an off-device tracking mode so none of your activities are ever missed out. This is also the first time Google has brought such a big redesign to the platform, but many had pointed out that it was necessary as the social features were removed. Let us take a look.

This new Patch 10.2 PTR build has added new Druid Form glyphs confirming that Druids will be getting many of the speculated forms including the Fish! There's also a new type of Mark. We still don't know which colors these will be, but at the very least it's looking more and more like these are all Druid customizations!

The Grotto Netherwing Drake, a dragonriding mount originally obtainable from the Trading Post, is receiving numerous customization options in 10.2--as well as another way to obtain it!

Meta has started rolling out its Meta Quest v57 update for its Quest virtual reality headsets. The update brings a range of new features and upgrades for Quest users such as unsending image messages, horizon feed, and more. But one of the most important feature upgrades to come from the update is an improvement to the avatar creator, as the company adds better customization options for users to fine-tune their appearance. Users will now be able to do a bunch of customization previously not possible such as adding highlights to hair, using a slider to pick a specific base hair color, and even choosing the color of your eyebrows. This was a feature many had asked for in the past and Meta has finally delivered.

Let’s Sing 2024 is continuing the karaoke party with an all-new story mode and avatar customization, as announced on Thursday. Your avatar will show up on the screen singing alongside you. Publisher Plaion is packaging pop hits like Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” and BTS’ “Dynamite” into this year’s editions. The game will feature “all-time” classics in the songlist, too.

Mortal Kombat players are counting down the days until they can get their hands on Mortal Kombat 1. The new mainline installment is coming later this month, hopefully giving fans another thrilling experience for the long-running franchise. However, we’re still left in the dark about some of the attributes of the new game. One of which is customization options. We know that there are some areas players can customize, but there hasn’t been any confirmation of what would be readily available for players. That was until a new set of leaks emerged online, showing off what players could expect. 

With a big focus on the Emerald Dream, Dragonflight Patch 10.2 includes new customization options for Druids! Balance Moonkin forms are inspired by stacking stone cairns, while other fiery customizations will be earned from the new raid!

With today's 10.1.7 Patch Notes, Blizzard has announced that the Man'ari Eredar Draenei customization won't be available on release, but will come a week later on September 12th as players follow Velen's prophecy. Additionally, Blizzard has outlined some of the major story quests available in 10.1.7 with characters including Shandris Feathermoon, Emberthal, and Chromie.

Along with new gameplay for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Focus Entertainment also showcased Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Developed by DON’T NOD of Life is Strange fame, the action RPG focuses on spirit hunters Antea and Red, who travel the land to help wayward spirits. The 15-minute gameplay sees the duo taking on a task for Thickskin to hunt a powerful Beast.

One of the central mechanics that players will need to engage with in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is editing their Armored Core mech, also known as ACs. Customizing an AC includes the ability to change the look of the mech with different colors, emblems, and decals along with the ability to edit its weaponry to construct class builds that will be important when preparing to approach an objective or enemy. With this being such a huge part of the game, players will want to understand how to use it. The Crew Motorfest, Ivory Tower’s open-world racing sequel to The Crew 2, will feature over 600 vehicles for players to control. Over 80 are brand new, as revealed in the recent developer diary. Following its new gameplay preview, FromSoftware’s Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has received several new details and hands-on impressions. The PlayStation Blog details various customization aspects, including the Armory, where players will customize their Armored Core or AC.

Since yesterday, we knew we would get a big breakdown of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The video game has managed to steer a bit away from marketing, but since we’re getting the title next month, FromSoftware is finally shedding some light on the gameplay aspect of the title. Atlas Fallen continues to look promising with each new showing, and one of several elements that has caught the eye of many is its high-octane, fast-paced combat, which is looking very different from what we’ve become used to seeing in Deck13’s titles in recent years.
