Blizzard has announced three Beta Test Weekends that will occur ahead of Cataclysm Classic's release on May 20th! These tests will include two weekends' worth of Raid testing and one weekend of Tol Barad PvP Battleground testing.

I allowed myself to play Fire Emblem Engage on the easiest possible mode, and it finally got me back into gaming. World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery has brought many changes into the Classic world, including new raids, items, and a whole lot of new class spells through the rune system, but some things truly never change. It is always a debate whether the Horde or Alliance are the most powerful faction. In this article, we'll examine the strengths, weaknesses, and differences of the two factions in Season of Discovery. When we talk about comparing the Alliance and the Horde, there are two main things that differentiate them. The first and most important is that in the Vanilla versions of the game before The Burning Crusade Expansion, only the Horde had the Shaman class and only the Alliance had the Paladin class, and the same holds true in Season of Discovery. Both classes offer considerable buffs to the party and can fulfill a damage dealer, healer, or tank role — but do so in very different ways. The second difference is the racial abilities available to the races of each faction. Powerful activated abilities like the human racial Perception define Horde vs Alliance PvP involving stealth classes. Undead's Will of the Forsaken wreaks havoc on enemy Warlocks and Priests, significantly hindering their ability to control the Undead player. The racial bonuses don't just influence player versus player combat though, and the historically strong PvE Human racial Sword Specialization may be overshadowed by increased availability of weapon skill in Season of Discovery.

Greenfield, better known as Aggrend, stated that the Season of Discovery team has been hard at work listening and attempting to respond to player feedback, and further feedback on changes would be welcome as the team attempts to adjust balance ahead of Phase 4.

This is most likely to prepare for the launch of Cataclysm Classic, as the Gold Cap was increased to that amount when Cataclysm was originally released in 2010. Characters are no longer capped out at ! The Guild Bank Gold Cap has also been increased to with this build. As players have been getting more effective with gold farming, and with the popularity of GDKP runs in Wrath Classic, the cap increase might come as a welcome relief to players. Some have previously voiced their thoughts on a higher Gold Cap being needed for the launch of Wrath Classic, citing better ways to earn gold and the previously mentioned GDKP runs as arguments to increase the cap.
