Beyond Galaxyland is a planet hopping RPG coming later this year

You don't see or hear too much about Among Us these days, but it remains a popular social deduction game. As it turns out, developer Inner Sloth is far from done with the title — it recently highlighted all its plans for the remainder of 2024, with some pretty big changes incoming.

Lies of P, the action Soulslike starring Pinocchio, is set to receive new DLC in the second half of this year. 

Dead by Daylight fans can check out the Dungeons and Dragons chapter starting today, but Behaviour Interactive teased another high-profile crossover during an anniversary showcase on Tuesday. A Castlevania chapter is on the way to DbD. There aren't any details yet about what that will include, but you just might get to play as Alucard or Simon Belmont in the fog. Behaviour plans to divulge more info about the Castlevania tie-up, which will arrive later this year, in August.

Supergiant Games has confirmed that Hades 2 will be in Early Access until "at least" the end of 2024, although there are some big content updates planned before its full release.

Super Mario Bros. and LEGO have revealed eight brand-new collaboration sets based on the popular Nintendo property, which will all be available to purchase on August 1. Nintendo has collaborated with LEGO on a number of its properties, including the Super Mario Bros. franchise. Ever since their introduction in 2020, Nintendo and LEGO have partnered on a number of occasions to bring the franchise to life in LEGO form. This includes a number of playsets and figures based on popular Super Mario levels and characters.

Camouflaj, Oculus Studios, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and DC have officially announced Batman: Arkham Shadow, a brand-new entry in the beloved Arkham series that will release exclusively for the Meta Quest 3 in late 2024. Batman: Arkham Shadow will mark the second time that a virtual reality take on the Arkham series has been released.

The debate on whether sticking the word ‘space’ in front of something instantly makes it better rages eternal with the heat of a thousand space-air fryers, but the yaysayers are at least victorious in the case of retro-futuristic RPG Beyond Galaxyland, in which turn-based combat is aided by your pal Boom Boom, who is a space hamster with a gun and a little waistcoat. I like this creature , but honestly, you could replace them with a sentient bin bag, and I’d be happy. With pixel art this vibrant and detailed, I reckon even a bulging sack of coffee ground and banana peels would be worth adventuring with. Don’t do it, though. It’s a good guinea pig.

Classic RPGs Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII have been referenced as inspirations behind a new galaxy-spanning RPG set for release on PS5, PS4 later this year. Beyond Galaxyland, from individual developer Sam Enright, is «an all-new take on the beloved RPG adventures of old» with an active turn-based combat system, platforming, and puzzle solving from the 2.5D perspective. Jackbox Games has revealed a brand new M-Rated Jackbox Game made for adults that's launching later in 2024. The new game collection is intended to appeal to grown-ups who want something a little more «provocative,» per Jackbox Games.

After a decade of child-friendly(-ish) party packs, the next Jackbox Party Pack will be the Jackbox Naughty Pack, the first M (Mature 17+) rated game from the Jackbox Games team.

Publisher United Label Games and developer Sam Enright have announced Beyond Galaxyland, a 2.5D adventure RPG coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, adn PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A release date was not announced.
