After a decade of child-friendly(-ish) party packs, the next Jackbox Party Pack will be the Jackbox Naughty Pack, the first M (Mature 17+) rated game from the Jackbox Games team.
Jackbox Games had this to say about the Naughty Pack:
“Dim the lights and charge up your devices (you know which ones) because here comes Jackbox Naughty Pack, an intimate pack of three games that are sure to have you laughing and maybe even sweating just a little, coming out later this year.”
Having just three games in the pack compared to the usual five will be a little disappointing, but we’d hope it’s priced to match this. There’s also currently no indication of what these games will entail – well, outside of the usual requirement that you log into the game on your individual smartphone or tablet in order to play – but you might wish to choose your partners a little more carefully than usual.
It’s also fair to say that, while all of the Jackbox games thus far have had a low bar for entry, there’s no reason why you couldn’t be rather filthy with some of your drawing, answers and prompts. It will be curious to see how Jackbox makes an explicitly explicit game.
The tenth entry in the long-running party game series arrived last year with Jason saying, “Jackbox Party Pack 10 is one of the stronger entries in the Jackbox pantheon, and I’m a big fan of it as a whole. Each game has its own pacing, and while I do think everyone will find their favourites as always, the mix feels very good this time around, and even the trivia game is fun. This is a great party pack that’ll be a good addition to any game night. Apart from Dodo Re Mi – I hope those digital birds stay eaten.”

We don't know about you, but anytime we've ever played Jackbox Party Pack, it's only ever been with people in their late 20s or older. While the successful series of party titles are typically aimed at a broad audience, featuring games suitable for all ages, it seems as though a lot of players are treating it like a game purely for adults. That's the feedback developer Jackbox Games was getting, anyway, and thus we end up here: Jackbox Naughty Pack.

The long-running series is finally delving into more adult themes, announcing their first M-rated project at today's IGN Xbox Showcase. Called the, the new game will explore much less family-friendly humor than typical entries in the franchise. This will mark the first real deviation from the typical formula, save for last year's, which was a compilation of existing fan-favorite minigames.
Alien: Rogue Incursion, a brand-new game set in the Alien universe, has been announced and will be launching later this year. The Alien franchise has had a number of wildly different games over the years, with titles ranging from stellar to critical flops. While games like 2013's Aliens: Colonial Marines are considered to be some of the worst licensed games made with the IP, others like Aliens: Dark Descent are decent enough entries that offer a fun experience. One game that most fans argue has yet to be surpassed in terms of horror is Alien: Isolation.
