New World, Amazon Games' flagship MMORPG, has announced a limited-time test of a new in-game feature aimed at enhancing the user experience on congested worlds. This comes in the wake of the game's latest expansion, Rise of the Angry Earth, which has seen a surge in player numbers and consequently, longer queue times.

There has been much said on the topic of potential changes to the upcoming Throne and Liberty , particularly after playtesting feedback and with an eye onits eventual global release. A new official letter from the game’s producer has been shared by NCSoft, and details some changes already implemented, to be added, and what’s next.

Throne and Liberty is headed for a technical test soon. In a new interview with Amazon Games’ Merv Kwae Lee, he talks about the important role of testing and feedback in shaping the game for global launch, the reaction to autoplay, and how to balance developer vision with player opinions.

 Lost Ark , fresh off a region merger in Europe, has shared a peek at next week’s September update. On the way are several new raids and features, in addition to fast-progression servers and features intended to make Lost Ark easier to jump into for the first time or to return.

Amazon Games has announced that MMORPG New World will be getting its first expansion on October 3. The expansion, titled Rise of the Angry Earth, will be priced at $29.99. Players interested in getting into the game right now can pick up a bundle containing the base game and the upcoming expansion for $69.99. The New World Team has just announced its first paid expansion, New World: Rise of the Angry Earth. Launching on October 3, Adventurers can discover the story behind the fall of First Light and the rise of the Elysian Wilds. In addition to the transformed zone, there will be mounts for faster travel, a new Flail weapon, a new gear rarity called Artifacts, and progression changes.

Throne and Liberty will be getting an official technical test starting on September 19th. The invite-only test will let some players step into the global build of NCSOFT’s new MMO, which is published by Amazon.

Lost Ark’s move to a single European server region is coming on August 30th, and the team has details on how it will all work.

When consider the wide pantheon of fantasy settings and jargon, one of the last things you’d probably think of is something as administrative sounding as protocol, yet with its anime action RPG stylings and the potential within for MMORPG team ups, there’s plenty of reasons to be excited by Blue Protocol.
