Amazon and NCSoft Thank Throne and Liberty Testers As Technical Test Ends

The recently-announced technical test for Throne and Liberty ended last night, and Amazon and NCSoft have thanked testers and lay out some of what’s next.
The update came by way of a blog post over on the Amazon Throne and Liberty site. Over the past couple of months, and with the late summer into fall game shows and events taking place, there has been speculation over what the Western release of the game might look like.
As some will do, after beta and other footage from the original release spread around, there was criticism over systems that involved autoplay mechanics, monetization concerns, and elements considered pay to win.
The teams announced that there would be a new technical test happening in the fall, and now we’re on the other side of it.
“Our teams at both Amazon Games and NCSOFT greatly appreciate the enthusiastic participation, candid feedback, and support shown by players,” the post says, in part.
The two companies are working as a partnership totake feedback into account and release a global version that will be approachable and fun, according to several interviews and appearances at Gamescom, PAX, and elsewhere.
“We’re excited to use the feedback and data gathered in this test to improve the core experience and technical infrastructure. Taking the time to help make THRONE AND LIBERTY the best it can be is our top priority. Players around the world will benefit from the level of care and detail that is being put into development and addressing player concerns, and we’ll be able to talk more about specific improvements soon.”
Now that the tech test is done, what’s next? Well, there will be further tests, for one, which they promise in the new post and promote signing up. Further, they’ll be weighing both their data and any feedback from testers from this test.
