We’re almost there! We’re almost at the release date for the second title in the “remake saga” for Square Enix’s beloved title. The game is anticipated in so many ways it’s hard to define, so that’s why you might be surprised that Final Fantasy VII Remake, the game that kicked the remake saga, has just gotten an update! Given that it’s been four years since the initial remake title dropped, you might have to wonder why they’re updating anything now. The answer is that some small changes to Tifa and Aerith have been done to possibly “tie into” the upcoming game more.
In the video game industry, many people stick around with the company they’re attached to for quite a while for multiple reasons. They might just like the company they work at. Or, they might be trying to gain “higher ranks” there. Another reason might be they know that their talents or ideas might be more appreciated at that particular company because they’ve worked there for so long. But, on the other side of things, people sometimes depart gaming companies somewhat randomly, including because they want to “move on to a new challenge,” which is what the creator of Final Fantasy did after a while at Square before it became Square Enix.
Four years after its initial release, Square Enix has patched Final Fantasy 7 Remake to amend one of Aerith's lines at the very end of the game.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s hugely anticipated launch is right around the corner, and with reviews for the game having gone live well ahead of its release and painted a glowing picture of the epic journey that Square Enix is on the verge of delivering, excitement is sky-high. Among many of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s elements that have received overwhelming praise in recent days, its vast and varied collection of minigames has received quite a bit of attention in particular, and game director Naoki Hamaguchi has now provided a clearer picture of just how many minigames players will find throughout the experience.
There’s no shortage of reasons to be excited about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth ahead of its imminent launch, and its sizeable and varied roster of minigames is surely high on that list. From playing the piano to chocobo racing, from Fort Condor to G-Bike, the upcoming action RPG boasts an impressive amount of optional minigames for players to engage with- but in the lead up to its release, none have caught the eye the way Queen’s Blood has.

While many people are worried about the “big-name franchises” of Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft and what state they’ll be in during the upcoming year or so, some lesser-known franchises are poised to make a return should their designers want them to. For example, on the Square Enix side of things, while they are getting ready for a big remake sequel to come out in a few days, they have more than one team working on RPGs. One of them is Team Asano, who has worked on multiple series, including the Bravely Default line. A line that recently celebrated an anniversary.

The reviews are in for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, with the game finding itself as the fifth highest-rated Final Fantasy game to date. Instead, Square Enix went in a very different direction, greatly expanding on the original to the point that the story is being told over the course of three games.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a week from release on February 29, and Tetsuya Nomura has one important request for fans regarding spoiler warnings when streaming and posting online. Fans expect Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to deliver on four years' worth of excitement since the release of the first installment of the Final Fantasy 7Remake trilogy. That does not account for the 26-year legacy Final Fantasy 7 has, along with the series' legacy in general. From the climactic ending of Remake as well as theFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo, it seems that there are many surprises lying in wait once fans return to this game's world.

Look, when something anticipated is about to drop or come out? The last thing anyone wants is to get spoiled because they accidentally came across something online or heard someone talking about it. Another thing to consider is that many people get advanced copies of things like video games and thus are allowed to do streaming and various videos highlighting the product they got access to. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a week away from release, and the reviews for the title paint it as something incredibly special. But for Tetsuya Nomura, he wants to ensure that those with the title right now don’t spoil too much for those who don’t.

There’s an important thing about reviews that everyone has to know. Specifically, it’s about how even if groups of people come together to “like something with all they’ve got,” that doesn’t mean you’ll like it. You see it with movies, TV shows, and, yes, video games. Sometimes critics will heap on the praise, and then you see it/play it for yourself, and you’re wondering why it got all the hype. For Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the hype has been building since the moment it was confirmed, and players have been dying to see what reviewers thought of it. Hint: they thought a lot of great things about it.

For many gamers, one of the worst things that can happen leading up to the release of a highly-anticipated game with a big narrative attached is spoilers hitting the internet prematurely. After all, when it comes to narrative games, half the fun is experiencing the story and watching it unfold before your very eyes. You don’t want ANYTHING to be spoiled ahead of time because that ruins it all! In the case of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, though it is a remake of a PS1 title, there will be key changes to the story that fans are hoping for and potentially dreading. Thus, they want no spoilers about what’s to come.

My experience with Warhams isn't flat zero - I had some minifigs when I was a teenager and played a few of the Dawn Of War video games - but I haven't actively checked in on it for a while. I know enough to make "[x] for the [x] throne!" jokes, basically. My experience with cleaning-stuff-sim PowerWash Simulator is extensive, though, and I was excited when the crossover with Warhammer 40K was teased a while back. Last night we got a full trailer and release date of Frebruary 27th - next week! - and I'm now earnestly very excited. The trailer is both very funny and shows off massive things to clean. Win win, innit.

UPDATE 4.45pm UK: Consider me educated. I have looked into this further, and it turns out not only is Trinity the name of the military order in the rebooted Tomb Raider games, but it is also the code name for the first detonation of a nuclear weapon, which was conducted by the United States Army back in 1945. And that could be what the Tomb Raider website is referring to. Whoops!
