You won’t be able to start buying magic Inferno armor and catalysts until you’ve unlocked the Infernomancer vendor in Lords of the Fallen. This hidden vendor is even trickier to find than the Blacksmith — another optional character you can easily miss. The Infernomancer sells weapons and items related to Infernomancy — one of the three schools of magic you can unlock. Unleashing fire is the most deadly of the schools, giving you the ability to blast foes with fireballs or add fire damage to your attacks. If you’re a magic class looking to enhance yourself further, you’ll want to unlock the NPC ASAP.

The Estus Flask or Lords of the Fallen is the Sanguinarix — like any Dark Souls game, you’ll use it for a quick healing sip. Your Sanguinarix starts with three charges and refills after every rest at a checkpoint. By now, we’re all familiar with the concept of healing items that recharge after you respawn or rest. And just like other classics of the action-RPG genre, you’ll also be able to upgrade your Sanguinarix. By finding rare items called Saintly Quintessence, you can increase your total charges and upgrade the total healing power of each charge. These are essential for progression. You don’t want to miss out.

Blizzard has clarified that the announced changes to Renown coming with Season 2 will also apply to Hardcore characters. Following the first Season 2 Developer Livestream, there was some noted confusion regarding the announced Renown changes.

October has arrived, and with it, a new seasonal event will be launching to Overwatch 2. The Halloween Terror 2023 event will be kicking off this year, with returning game modes such as Junkenstein’s Revenge, Wrath of the Bridge, and the arrival of a new game mode called Trials of Sanctuary.

During their Season 2 developer stream, Blizzard has showcased new vampiric monster families joining the fray of enemies, adding further chaos to the world of Sanctuary. Controlled by Lord Zir, the season's main story antagonist, these new enemies can most certainly be met in Blood Harvests and other seasonal-related content types. Another addition to the pool of enemies will be the so-called Blood Seekers, player-looking creatures much more powerful than the average minion controlled by the vampire lord. Expanding on the addition of these new monster families, the Diablo 4 development team stated that their abilities will involve more «area denial» and that players «should definitely watch where they step». Some of the new enemies will also have new after-death effects like lumps of blood which will shield other enemies around them, so players might want to adjust their target priorities.

Following a strong launch with over $666 million in revenue within the first five days, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 fumbled its first season with a hugely unpopular patch. The difference is that while our characters have learned to wield their Vampiric Powers, Bloodseekers have lost themselves to vampirism, and now serve under Lord Zir. Fighting against these Bloodseekers will reward players with Potent Blood, which players will be able to use in order to upgrade their Vampiric Powers or unlock new ones.

During the Developer Livestream on October 4th, the team shared many significant changes coming to Diablo 4 with the release of Season 2 — Season of Blood. Some of these changes include Gems dropping as materials, Sort & Filter options for the Stash, and other huge quality-of-life improvements! Players have been vocal about their dislike of late-game itemization and having their inventories cluttered with low-quality gear. Upcoming gothic-themed title The Last Faith will release worldwide on November 15. The dark and visceral Metroidvania and Soulslike hybrid from developer Kumi Souls focuses on methodical combat in a dark yet beautiful 2D world. As has become standard in the genre, The Last Faith will feature intense boss fights that are challenging yet rewarding. Of course you can draw parallels to games like Dark Souls. But, with the 2D art style, it actually reminds me a lot of Salt and Sanctuary or Blasphemous 2.

With Season 7: Rise of Darkness launching next week for Overwatch 2, Blizzard Entertainment has outlined all of the changes and new content to expect in a new blog post. As we stroll, slowly but surely, into spooky season, Diablo 4 is beginning a new season of its own. Following on from the Season of the Malignant, the Season of Blood is coming on October 17, bringing with it a veritable banquet of new content and new mechanics for the game. Blizzard has announced the details for Overwatch 2 Season 7, which launches next week with a host of Halloween-y additions, a major rework for Sombra, and reversions of several hero changes.

Season 7 begins next Tuesday, and we’re bringing a frightening amount of new content and a seasonal theme that is darker than ever before! We’re introducing a new Blizzard crossover game mode in Trials of Sanctuary, the Halloween Terror 2023 event, and a hot new control map featuring the tropical island of Samoa. We’re also bringing a massive balance update, including a reworked ability kit for Sombra, and new changes to the Route 66 Map! Overwatch 2’s seventh season will be a big one, despite not featuring a new hero. Season 7, or “Rise of Darkness” as Blizzard is calling the new season of content, will add a new Control map, a big Diablo-themed crossover, and a new Mythic skin for Hanzo — completing the Shimada clan Mythic skin trifecta.

Overwatch 2 Season 7 is almost upon us, and this time, the season lines up with the spookiest holiday of them all.
