Overwatch 2 Season 7 Reworks Sombra, Adds New Diablo-Themed Event Mode

Spider-Man 2 will receive a New Game+ mode as part of a post-launch update, later this year. As per Insomniac Games Community Director James Stevenson, just like the 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man, those looking to replay the title and mop up all the side quests might have to wait a bit, though for now, simply beating it once grants access to an ‘Ultimate' difficulty setting for a fresh playthrough. For the uninitiated, a New Game + mode generally allows players to plunge back into a game's campaign in an overpowered state, as the in-game character carries over all unlocked abilities, tools and weapons, and gear upgrades.

The next big collaboration for Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2 is coming November 1st, and it’s Korean pop group LE SSERAFIM. A new game mode inspired by the group and in-game items, like Legendary skins, will go live, with more details coming October 30th.

Overwatch 2 is getting new skins that clothe Moria and Pharah in the outfits of Diablo 4’s Lilith and Inarius. Those skins are part of a new wave of cosmetics incoming for the game’s Season 7: Rise of Darkness, but they’re not part of the standard premium battle pass. Instead, they’ll cost you another $40 - as much as the whole of Overwatch 1 did when it was first released. As you can imagine, people aren’t too chuffed.

343 Industries has released the launch trailer of Halo Infinite Season 5 titled Reckoning. It adds a new Battle Pass with Armor Cores, weapon skins inspired by the Flood and two new maps – Prism and Forbidden. The season goes live on October 17th – check out the trailer below.
