The big day is here. Yes, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now hitting digital store shelves around the globe, and to the surprise of no one who has played one of the shooters in the past decade, it comes with a monumental file size.

Valve today revealed a new model of its Steam Deck handheld gaming console. This new Deck has an OLED display, and comes with several upgrades over the older versions, including a bigger battery and heftier storage options. It appears that Steam is now shelving two of the three LCD models and will not sell them once supplies run out, with the OLED version supplanting them on the sales page. If you want to purchase a PlayStation 5, you might like to hold off a little longer. Just yesterday, we got word of Sony delivering a new model of the PlayStation 5. Players can soon expect PlayStation 5 Slim models to enter the marketplace this November. These new models will shrink down the size of the PlayStation 5 console, and it’s even providing a means to add a disc drive to the digital-only version if you fancy getting physical media later on.

Sony finally unveiled the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive or “PS5 Slim”, a new model with 30 percent reduced volume and lighter weight than the current design following months of rumors. It sports a detachable Blu-ray disc drive (which Digital Edition owners can purchase separately) and a 1 TB SSD (compared to the original’s 825 GB).

Sony is all set to refresh its PlayStation 5 lineup for the holiday season, with the long-rumoured slimmer redesign of the PS5 confirmed to release next month. Sony unveiled the new PS5 models late Tuesday, showcasing design changes that have helped the console become smaller and lighter. While the PS5 slim's processing power and graphical capabilities remain the same as the original PS5, the mid-gen console refresh, which has a slightly smaller form factor than its infamously bulky predecessor, does get slightly bigger internal storage, up from an 825GB custom SSD to 1TB. The PS5 slim also brings the option to add an external UHD Blu-ray disc drive to its digital edition console. Notably, the disc edition of the redesigned PS5 slim maintains its pricing at $499.99 (roughly Rs. 41,615), but the digital edition gets a $50 price bump and will cost $449.99 (roughly Rs. 37,452), up from $399.
