In Phase 3 of Season of Discovery, three new Shoulder Enchants have been discovered that are directly tied to Alchemists. The Flask of Nightmarish Mojo, a new craftable flask in Phase 3, can be used as currency with Zalgo the Explorer to obtain these new enchantments.

Blizzard has published many hotfixes for Season of Discovery, including fixes for Loganaar who was needed for the Epic Crafting Questline, a new visual for Void Zone, and tweaks to Balefire Bolt. In addition to the Eranikus nerfs from earlier today, Blizzard also announced that Avatar of Hakkar's HP was reduced by 35%.

After noting that players heavily preferred to level in Nightmare Incursions, instead of exploring Azeroth or running dungeons, an attempt to promote these other methods has been made. The experience from Incursions has been significantly nerfed — from roughly 7000 experience per quest all the way down to 3000 according to a recent Reddit post. Despite the hopes that buffing Discoverer's Delight from 50% to a new 75% would make the two methods roughly on par, this change does seem to have hit Incursions particularly hard, potentially dethroning them as the fastest leveling option.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is about the journey, not the destination. It’s about exploring routes you’ve never taken before, camping in the wilderness, and having an unexpected run in with a Minotaur. Quests objectives are also left intentionally vague, forcing you to puzzle things out and speak to as many people as you can. If you could just easily fast travel to obvious quest markers you could certainly check them off your list more efficiently, but then you’d miss out entirely on the adventure of getting there.

A new quest was introduced in Phase 3 of Season of Discovery, The Wild Gods, and it was discovered that completing it unlocked a new currency and vendor with powerful rewards. One of these rewards is the very powerful Breadth of the Beast trinket: While the trinket itself is very valuable with its crit and hit chance, what made it even more unique is the fact that it wasn't «Unique-Equip» — meaning you were able to have two of these trinkets equipped at the same time. This was changed with a hotfix that went live on Sunday night.

Players have discovered how to complete the epic crafting quest chain for Season of Discovery Phase 3 profession gear. After a lot of questioning and confusing as to what the use of Emerald Chip is, players have finally reached a high enough reputation to find out that they are used to purchase items at Revered and Exalted with Emerald Wardens. This currency is rewarded for completing Nightmare Incursions in Feralas and the Hinterlands, with each quest within the dream awarding 1 Emerald Chip. Prices vary from 50 to 75 Emerald Chip's per item.

After a few days of double storms spawning, it seems like we have a clear weather forecast, as storms are once again down to one at time, sometimes down to zero. This is like a bug and not intentional. This issue started Friday around the daily reset time. Friday is also the mid-week World Quest reset day, but it is unsure if something then caused it. Checking the Primal Storm Tracking spredsheet you can see that storms started having issues on both issues around the same time relative to the weekly reset.

It's day three of Phase 3 in Season of Discovery, and almost every Rune has been found — but some have trickier information to find than others. We've been hard at work scouring the database, user comments, and digging around in Season of Discovery to bring you the discovery steps for the newest Runes, but some have still eluded us — take a look! Our Rune coverage has brought us to all corners of Azeroth, and only one elusive Rune now remains unsolved — the Rune of Light's Grace for Paladins. This Rune teaches the Light's Grace spell, reducing the cast time of Holy Light, and unfortunately, there aren't many leads on its location. The running theory is that this Rune is somehow related to the datamined NPC Injured Gnome, but this mysterious Knight is nowhere to be found — at least, not yet. We don't know for certain that this NPC is connected to the Rune, but the name is suggestive since Light's Grace is a healing spell. Aside from Light's Grace, some Runes have spotty information associated with them. While we know the broad strokes of how to find and earn these Runes, the finer details have eluded us — things such as NPC names, complete coordinates, or in some situations bugs associated with them that make earning them more difficult:

A new Season of Discovery questline has been discovered and reported to us by Wowhead user Geartrix, allowing Goblin and Gnomish Engineers to learn recipes from the other specialization! Goblin and Gnomish Engineers have traditionally been blocked from learning recipes associated with the other Specialization once locked in. This, however, looks to have changed in Phase 3 with the implementation of Engineering Exchange Ticket. After leveling Engineering to 225 and unlocking a Specialization, players will have access to a new quest (Gnomish Solutions/Goblin Solutions) offered by Fizzbizz Coppercoil in the Shimmering Flats in Thousand Needles. For Gnomish Engineers, this quest requires two Gnomish Harm Prevention Belt, while Goblins need to provide 5 Goblin Land Mine. Turning in this quest gives you another — this time to kill Thunderstomp Stegodon in Un'goro Crater for a Thunderstomp Stegodon Horn (Require Gnomish Problems/Require Goblin Problems). Next, you'll need to complete the quest Watering Down the Competition by heading to Hearthglen and finding a Box of Scarlet Dye upstairs in one of the houses next to the bed. Return to the Shimmering Flats once more, and after a few more quests such as Victory Lap for the Gnomes!, you'll be directed to speak with Maximillian «The Greaser» — who will offer the quest Hush Money, which can be completed weekly for an Engineering Exchange Ticket. It appears that it will take eight weeks to earn all available recipes for each Specialization.Maximillian «The Greaser» will then offer you recipes for the opposite specialization — take a look!

Players have discovered that completing The Wild Gods quest in Felwood will grant access to some amazing rewards! These include pre-raid BiS gear and Darkmoon cards that are contained in Shadowtooth Bag. From an initial read of the title, I was under the impression that Chicken for Linda! was about a little girl who really wanted a pet chicken. I was wrong. There's a secret toy you can get in Blackrock Depths! We're going to show you how to find a traveler in the Detention Block with a simple quest that rewards a Rainbow Generator, a fashionable shirt, and Student Fodder for you and your intrepid party members. Just east of the Ring in Blackrock Depths is a bridge that leads north over lava. As you get onto the bridge, look down and to the left; you'll see a friendly Dark Iron Dwarf below you on the base of a pillar. Clear the rest of the mobs ahead of you (Blazing Fireguards and a group of Shadowforge dwarves).It's a long way down ... It's parkour time! Move to the left side of the bridge near a small brazier. Get onto the railing, hug the rock wall, and jump ahead onto the platform near the wall. Move to the end of the platform, hugging the wall, and move hard into the rock corner. Turn with your left shoulder to the wall and run carefully against the wall, until you just fall down into the exposed corner. Drop down onto the rock outcrop below. Thankfully, the hard part is over! Turn left into a small room, where you'll encounter the Rugged Traveler.
