Although the weekly quest in Valdrakken awards half a Spark of Awakening used to craft max level gear, it appears players can earn another half this week as random loot from dungeons and raids too, allowing them to upgrade a piece of gear in the first week of Dragonflight Season 4! While previous Seasons also allowed players access to a full spark within the first week, the extra half was awarded from a quest, making it pretty hard for players to miss. This time, however, it's not quite so obvious, as one of the splinters isn't attached to a quest at all.
State of the Rune Hunt in Phase 3 Season of Discovery - Only One Missing, Some Need Clarification

It's day three of Phase 3 in Season of Discovery, and almost every Rune has been found — but some have trickier information to find than others. We've been hard at work scouring the database, user comments, and digging around in Season of Discovery to bring you the discovery steps for the newest Runes, but some have still eluded us — take a look!
Our Rune coverage has brought us to all corners of Azeroth, and only one elusive Rune now remains unsolved — the Rune of Light's Grace for Paladins. This Rune teaches the Light's Grace spell, reducing the cast time of Holy Light, and unfortunately, there aren't many leads on its location. The running theory is that this Rune is somehow related to the datamined NPC Injured Gnome, but this mysterious Knight is nowhere to be found — at least, not yet. We don't know for certain that this NPC is connected to the Rune, but the name is suggestive since Light's Grace is a healing spell.
Aside from Light's Grace, some Runes have spotty information associated with them. While we know the broad strokes of how to find and earn these Runes, the finer details have eluded us — things such as NPC names, complete coordinates, or in some situations bugs associated with them that make earning them more difficult:
- Paladins — Rune of Wrath: the Wrath Rune has caused some confusion among players in regards to the spawning patterns of the Vengeful Spirit needed to obtain it. Initially thought to only spawn at night, reports have been wildly inconsistent — more data is needed to say for certain when the mob actually spawns.
- Mages — Rune of Deep Freeze: Mages have yet another Rune associated with turning in books to Azeroth's busiest librarians, however this time, we aren't quite sure the number needed to obtain the Rune. With eight new books added in Phase 3, there's clearly more than enough to gather the number needed — we simply don't know the exact amount that Garion Wendell and Owen Thadd are looking for this time around. Not only that, but Sanguine Sorcery, one of the new books implemented in Phase 3, has yet to be found.
- Warriors — Rune of Gladiator Stance: while we believe we have all the appropriate information regarding this Rune, there's a pretty large bug involved in the acquisition process — grouping at any time during the questline frequently causes the NPCs to bug, rendering the quests unable to be completed. There's not much we can do about this, but hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon!
