The Tribes revival is upon us. Tribes III: Rivals is officially “coming soon” to early access as revealed via a new trailer dropped this week by developer Prophecy Games.

The Final Fantasy XIV Online open beta will begin on February 21sts, Square Enix has confirmed. However, it is only open to new players who have not played Final Fantasy XIV Online before, meaning players with existing accounts on other platforms will not be able to log into this version of the game until after it has fully launched.

Developer Rocksteady Studios has taken its new live-service multiplayer shooter set in the Batman: Arkham universe, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leauge, offline after Early Access players hit a «story completion» bug. While the standard edition of the game doesn't hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC until this Friday, February 2, players who purchase the more expensive Deluxe Edition, which costs $99.99 compared to the Standard Edition's $69.99 price tag, can jump in three days early. 

Like many modern releases, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League put its short early access period behind a paywall. While the game fully launches on February 2, anyone who paid for the Deluxe Edition is meant to be able to play 72 hours early. However, that is not working in practice.

Bloodborne Kart, the long-awaited fan game that started as an April Fools' joke, is getting delayed to remove all reference to the FromSoftware action-RPG after Sony got in contact with the devs.

In a stroke of exciting news for seafarers and pirates, Ubisoft has announced that multiplayer open-world pirate sim Skull and Boneswill get an open beta ahead of its imminent February 16 launch.

Early access survival game Enshrouded lets up to 16 players take part in a dedicated server at the same time, but those players are now discovering that if even a single one of them completes a quest objective, it completes for everyone - even if they're not actually online.

I've been tracking developer Ubisoft Singapore's naval warfare multiplayer game, Skull and Bones, since its reveal years ago, both as a massive fan of all things pirates and someone who specifically loved the high seas action of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Islands of Insight will launch for PC via Steam on February 13 for $29.99, publisher Behaviour Interactive and developer Lunarch Studios announced. A new demo will be available during Steam Next Fest: February 2024 from February 5 to 12, but users can register on the official website from February 2 to 4 to receive an early access code.

Islands of Insight, an open-world puzzle game by Behvaiour Interactive and Lunarch Studios, will launch on February 13. It’s coming exclusively to PC and will retail for $30. A public demo for it will be available from February 5 to February 12 on Steam.

If you're looking for a brand-new early access survival game to play this week, but can't stomach Palworld's particular blend of cartoon color, animal cruelty, and Steam domination, then I'm here to remind you about Enshrouded.

Zombie survival game The Day Before went offline for good on Monday, just 45 days after the game launched to infamy on Steam. It was an ignominious end for the game, which went from one of the most wishlisted games on Valve’s storefront to financial disaster for developer Fntastic.

Nintendo has revealed exactly when most remaining online services for the 3DS and Wii U will come to an end. After 7AM ET on April 8, it will no longer be possible to jump into a multiplayer match on the original Splatoonor check out other players' levels in Super Mario Maker. Online co-op play, leaderboards and data distribution are among the features that won't be available on either console (unless you find an adequate homebrew solution). The Badge Arcade feature, which allows players to customize their Nintendo 3DS home menu, is going away too.

The Nintendo Wii U and 3DS online services will be terminated this April, but users will still be able to download purchased software and updates for their games.

However, as you all know, the studio didn’t quite hit the strides they were hopeful for when it came to Cyberpunk 2077’s actual launch. Several aspects were even written off to bring this game around. But one feature could find itself being incorporated in the upcoming sequel. 

Palworld is the new hot game, blowing up Steam, Xbox Game Pass and the internet as a whole in recent days. While those on console can simply download and get stuck in, PC players will need to check out what specs are needed ahead of playing.

Palworld players have filed over 50,000 bug and error reports since launch, but the good news is that lost save data might be able to be restored.

CD Projekt Red plans to kick off the production phase of The Witcher 4 this year, according to the Studio Head and Joint CEO Adam Badowski.

As CD Projekt staffs up for its various projects in development, the boss of the company has said it is considering adding multiplayer to the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.

Cyberpunk 2077's sequel, codenamed Orion, could have a multiplayer component. In a recent interview, CD Projekt Red CEO Michał Nowakowski confirmed that the studio is still "considering" multiplayer for the sequel, adding an element that never made it into the first game.

Palworld players have recently encountered a few problems with the open-world survival creature collector. 

Halo Infinitedeveloper 343 Industries has confirmed that active support for the game will be winding down after the current multiplayer season concludes.

While Palworld has enjoyed an enormous launch, there are a number of serious bugs affecting players. Developer Pocketpair said it’s working on issuing fixes, including for players who are unable to enter servers, unable to play multiplayer, and a dreaded lost saved data bug.

The Cyberpunk 2077 sequel might still be in the conceptual phase, but CD Projekt is eyeing ramping up production later this year - and is considering multiplayer features for the new game.
