Dead by Daylight, the multiplayer survival horror released back in 2016, has had some eclectic crossovers in its eight years. From Chucky, to Halloween's Laurie Strode, to Nicolas Cage, it's giving Fortnite a run for its money.
In keeping with the horror theme, the next crossover will bring Alan Wake to the murder party. Like he hasn't had enough trauma already.

As fans of his respective series would expect, Alan Wake's perks are centred around light.
Champion of Light boosts Alan's speed while holding a flashlight, and it hinders the movement of his pursuer if he shines it in their eyes.
Deadline ups the frequency in which he heals allies or repairs generators – but it only activates when Alan is injured.
The third is a boon totem called Illumination that shows allies where chests and generators are by revealing their auras.
As well as Alan's perks, there will be a modifier called Lights Out.
For a limited time this will remove all tools from every survivor. We'd expect this sort of such helplessness in the company of Alan Wake.
There is indeed a trailer for the Alan Wake Dead by Daylight crossover! Check it out below, narrated by the man himself (voiced, of course, by Matthew Porretta).

Alan Wake is coming to Dead by Daylight at the end of this month, the tortured writer set to be the latest survivor in the long-running multiplayer horror game, but how did this come to be and what will Alan play like?
The Rockstar Editor will soon be removed from the PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA Online because last-gen consoles aren't getting any younger.
Earlier this month, Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive made the exciting announcement that Alan Wake is being added to the game as a playable Survivor on January 30. His addition immediately has us all asking if any playable Killers from the Alan Wake series could be added in the future too, but Scratch has been taken off the table as he's "too close" to The Entity.
Take-Two Interactive has filed an opposition to Remedy Entertainment’s newest logo, claiming the symbol infringes on Rockstar Games’ logo despite the two having little in common besides the letter “R” representing a video game publisher. First reported by RemedyFirst, the trademark dispute was filed against two versions of the Remedy logo (one with the company’s name, one without) in September with the UK’s Intellectual Property Office.
When you think of Nicolas Cage, the first performance that comes to mind probably isn't Martin Scorsese's Bringing Out the Dead, a psychological drama released in 1999. Cage, however, thinks it's one of his best movies – and that it's "misunderstood".
You could say that Alan Wake 2 was decades in the making. Last year’s blockbuster from Remedy saw the studio return to its roots and the horrors therein, dredging up the past to loop into something new, now. But it wasn’t just the main character or gameplay style we saw return, but the sounds and inspirations of the original Alan Wake too, bubbling up from Cauldron Lake through the music of Poe.
