Baldur's Gate 3 Wins Game of the Year From New York Video Game Critics Circle

Baldur's Gate 3 has taken home Game of the Year at this year's New York Video Game Critics Circle 2024 New York Game Awards, as well as an award for Best Writing.
The remainder of the awards were fairly evenly spread, with Chants of Sennar winning Best Indie Game, Alan Wake 2 winning Best World, Hi-Fi Rush winning for best music, and Melanie Liburd winning Best Acting for her work as Saga Anderson in Alan Wake 2. As previously announced, Neil Druckmann received the Andrew Yoon Legend Award for his contributions to the industry.

The New York Game Awards were begun in 2012 by the New York Video Game Critics Circle in an effort to "recognize outstanding achievement in video games." The ceremony for 2024 was held on January 23, 2024 in Manhattan.
