The game's Pinocchio-meets-Bloodborne premise had always seemed strange, but it's clearly struck a chord, as it's arrived at number three in the bestsellers in its launch week. Less surprising is a number one debut for Mortal Kombat 1. Both titles sold the vast majority of their physical copies on PS5.

While the full UK physical retail charts from Gfk aren’t available yet, GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring confirmed that it debuted in first place.
Pikmin 4 had been consistently topping weekly Japanese physical software sales charts since its launch in July, before being dethroned last week courtesy of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon’s impressive debut.
