Darkest Dungeon II developer Red Hook Studios published an update on the game’s mod support earlier this week.

The Ravendawn team announced that they are working on a huge PvP update, but has decided to expand that patch even more and include a number of new PvE systems and blended systems. They’ve released a preview of one of the new features on the way, Aether Rifts.

When No Rest for the Wicked was released in Early Access, there was excitement, bt it wasn't without issue. Initially, the game had a staggeringly unsteady frame rate and other technical issues — which is to be expected from a game in Early Access. But developer Moon Studio has rolled out patch after patch, rectifying these issues and more or less changing the game over a series of weeks. I had the opportunity to play No Rest for the Wicked in its earlier stages, marred by frame drops and freezes, and more recently, as the game itself has evened out. And what I’ve found lies beneath is a game that blends the isometric and action RPG genres together in a tantalizing way that could shape up to be something exciting, even if it isn’t exactly original.

Anyone hoping to get their hands on the physical copies of console Deluxe Editions of Baldur’s Gate 3 will now have to wait a while longer thanks to production issues out of the developer's hands.

Historically, Sea of Thieves and I go way back. I played a few hundred hours of Sea of Thieves up until when the Pirates of the Caribbean update came out. I quit because I felt like 80% of what I did was a waste of time. I did soldier through, mostly because I played the game with my family. Unfortunately, after we had to cut a lengthy adventure short for the Pirates of the Caribbean story and lost a few hours of progress, we all hung it up, and I uninstalled the game.

The Kickstarter campaign for The Secret World for Savage Worlds, a TTRPG, that is the continuation of another MMO titled The Secret Worlds Legends, has hit its goal in just a matter of days. 

Over the last couple of years, ASUS has really stepped up its game when it comes to its gaming keyboards. Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show has supercharged excitement in the Fallout IP, leading to a significant surge in player counts across a variety of Fallout titles on Steam, but also for Fallout London, a fan-created mod for Fallout 4 that may as well be an entirely new entry in the series due to the breadth and scope of the project.

Neverwinter’s 28th module, Adventures in Wildspace, is out now. The module concludes the game’s Spelljammer story arc, expands the Wildspace adventure zone, a new dungeon, some quality-of-life improvements, and more.

In May of last year, I reviewed the Lofree Flow and concluded that it was one of, if not the very best, low profile keyboard you could buy in sound and feel. That still stands today, nearly a year later, but a new challenger has entered: the Lofree Edge. 

Guardian Tactics: Deck of the Chosen is an upcoming roguelike deck builder from the creators of Timelie, Urnique Studio. It functions a bit differently from what you might be used to from roguelikes. As of March 29th, Urnique Studio has released the demo for Guardian Tactics, and I got the chance to check it out. The celebration for Elder Scrolls Online has begun. Alongside all of the rewards, in-person events, and in-game events, fans get to feast their eyes on a miniature version of different locations from the game. 

Last year, we took a look at the Flexispot Odin, a four-legged standing desk, and were impressed by its excellent stability. Grounded, Obsidian’s Honey, I Shrunk The Kids-esque survival game, received its final content update this week with ‘Fully Yoked’ update 1.4.

I\O Audio is a new brand aiming to launch with a bang. Its first product, the I\O Audio Volare is certainly impressive. At $599, it features a tribrid design consisting of one dynamic driver, four balanced armatures, and four electrostatic drivers.  This type of configuration is found in some of the highest-end IEMs on the market and usually starts north of $700 and extends into the multiple thousands. Certainly Golden Ears territory, it still manages to feel like a good value in the category it’s competing in. If you’re looking for a grat balance of punchy bass and sparkly treble, this is a great set to consider. 

11 bit studios kicked off its beta for its post-apocalyptic city-builder, Frostpunk 2, this week for those who have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game. The beta runs through April 22.

Players will soon be able to master the Satsui no Hado in Street Fighter 6 as the iconic Akuma is set to join the roster on May 22. Akuma is the final character included in SF6’s Year 1 Character Pass.

In less than a week, V Rising 1.0 will finally be out, and developer Stunlock Studios is reminding us of that May 8th launch date with the official launch trailer.

It's happening again. A small indie developer comes out of nowhere and has everyone flipping their lid over some revolutionary new game, and you can buy it for half the price of a traditional AAA game. Except this time, there isn't some post-launch slow burn as super-streamer after super-streamer gets their chat cults all riled up. Nope, this go-around, medieval city builder Manor Lordsarrived at its Early Access launch with a wishlist army over three million strong, reaching 170,000+ concurrent players on Steam multiple times during launch weekend. But with many of its features still unfinished, Manor Lords may be just a flash in the pan, at least for now.

Between Palworld, Helldivers 2, and now Manor Lords, it’s been a year of games coming out of left field and achieving runaway success.

When the Land of the Morning Light expansion made its way to Black Desert Mobile, only some of the challenging bosses were added in the first batch of content. More bosses followed. Pearl Abyss has expanded the expansion’s content again in the latest mobile update with new bosses and new tales.
