The Lost Ark Team is excited to reveal the second part of the 2024 roadmap, including major planned content pieces arriving in Arkesia over the next three months. Checkout the full roadmap post , as well as the video roadmap from the team.

This month, the “Darkness Unleashed” Update arrives in Arkesia, and with it the Thaemine Legion Raid, new Transcendence progression system, Veskal Guardian Raid, and so much more!

2024 is only a few months in, but for Amazon Games, it’s been full steam ahead for the organization’s many teams. Some of the highlights include Lost Ark celebrating its second anniversary and New World’s welcome to the Year of the Dragon. Add to that, the business explored the impact of the people behind the games, from spotlighting the teams working on game creation and publishing in its new ‘Meet the Makers’ shorts series, to raising awareness for the many talented game makers with Black Voices in Gaming, to examining the impact of player communities on game development, and much more.

New World Season 5 –Season of the Guardian – has arrived. In the new season, survive the Winter Rune Forge, acquire new Artifacts, and experience the fully updated main story quest. You can also enjoy Mounts in Outpost Rush and journey through Aeternum with native controller support.

At the 2024 D.I.C.E. Summit in Las Vegas, Amazon Games partnered with Black Voices in Gaming to provide sponsorships to underrepresented game devs and entrepreneurs, allowing them to attend the event and connect with some of the biggest names in the business.

Season 5, Season of the Guardian, comes to New World on March 12. In the new season, Adventurers will survive the Winter Rune Forge and the updated Shattered Mountain main story quest, master Cooking Trade Skill changes, play with a controller, and even enjoy smoother combat in PvP.

This month, Lost Ark turns 2. To celebrate, the Team is unveiling the “2 Extreme” Update which includes Valtan Extreme and several special anniversary events.

The Team that helped bring Lost Ark to the West looks back at two years of adventures in Arkesia.

Before corruption plagued the ancient structures, citizens of Ebonscale Reach offered tributes for good fortune. Awaken the ancient dragon spirit once again on February 7 through 20 to rejoice in Year of The Dragon. But beware, the Corrupted Maiden lurks in the shadows to snatch blessings from Adventurers. Join Longtable Banquets, Tribute Offerings, and Firework Ceremonies for event-specific, daily rewards like Fortune’s Gift Sacks.

In 2023, Amazon Games announced upcoming titles from internationally renowned franchises, grew studio teams in Montreal, Orange County and San Diego, unveiled plans for a variety of new titles, expanded the entertaining worlds of existing games, popped up at events throughout the industry, and worked hard to give back and expand inclusion in the games industry. With the arrival of the New Year a new Lost Ark monthly update has arrived. The January Update includes the Inferno mode of Brelshaza, the new Lai Lai Adventure Island, and a slew of quality of life and balance updates, along with additional new content.

Greetings heroes of Arkesia! In the spirit of giving, this month the Lost Ark team is releasing content across two updates, on December 13 and December 20. On December 13 get ready for Voldis, the Gargareth Guardian Raid, a new seasonal event, Proving Grounds Season 4, and more. Seven days later, after a week of exploring Voldis, look forward to the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon and the introduction of the Elixir system.

Eternal Frost is now live. Celebrate Winter Convergence and team up with a surly fire mage to save Aeternum from an eternal winter for festive loot. You can also delve into the Glacial Tarn Expedition in pursuit of the Varangian Knight Ser Loth.

This week, the Souleater arrives in Arkesia along with progression events to help players quickly level up. On November 15, heroes finally meet the Master of Specters, the Soul Eater, an Assassin subclass who wields a giant scythe to attack her enemies and collect their souls.

November is here, and The New World team will satisfy your hunger for carnage with the succulent Grand Gobbler War Hammer when Turkulon returns November 15 through 28. Hunt down the Feathered Avenger of Death and his ‘fowl army’ to earn unique, event-specific items and more frequent drops, including a giant turkey leg.

The New World team has just unveiled details for a new season, Eternal Frost, which will release on December 12. Explore the Glacial Tarn Expedition, thwart a Knight of the Round Table, and more.

Women make up just between 24% and 30% of the video game industry’s workforce, depending on the research source. However, year after year, from players to developers, female representation has been growing throughout games at all levels of experience.

From our internal studios and development partners, to Prime Gaming and more, the past few months saw a lot of activity at Amazon Games. Players got a first look at previews for upcoming titles THRONE AND LIBERTY and BLUE PROTOCOL, with both games showcased to media at the world’s largest gaming event — gamescom. New seasons and expansions launched for New World and Lost Ark. Plus, our Prime Gaming members got to enjoy loads of free games along with a great selection of in-game content for some of today’s most sought-after titles.

Hi everyone! Here we are, two years to the day after launching New World. The Rise of the Angry Earth expansion is right around the corner, and we have so much on the horizon that we plan to share with you all, but first I’d like to take a moment and reflect on the past two years.

The Lost Ark team is excited to announce that the game’s September update, titled “Jump to the Endgame,” is now live! As the title suggests, the focus of this update is a new feature that will allow players to jump ahead to the endgame content. And this new feature is called Jump-Start servers.

This year, to celebrate National Video Games Day, some of the top hosts from Crown Channel opened up about what video games mean to them, and even shared insights about their favorite games ever. The New World Team has just announced its first paid expansion, New World: Rise of the Angry Earth. Launching on October 3, Adventurers can discover the story behind the fall of First Light and the rise of the Elysian Wilds. In addition to the transformed zone, there will be mounts for faster travel, a new Flail weapon, a new gear rarity called Artifacts, and progression changes.

Amazon Games is excited to unveil Part 3, the final instalment of the 2023 content roadmap. Heroes of Arkesia can now read up on the major planned content arriving to Lost Ark through the rest of this year.

In late July, the first preview impressions for the Western version of Blue Protocol began to publish worldwide. Although the game had a successful launch in Japan back in June, this was the first opportunity for press to experience and share their thoughts on the Western version of the game, which is set to launch next year.

Thursday, July 27th was a special day at Amazon, when the company celebrated “Global Intern Day.” It’s a day where we acknowledge the many contributions that thousands of interns, across more than 40 countries, make at Amazon, each year through its global paid internship program, including many who work with Amazon Games. We dropped by the worldwide celebration, held at the company headquarters in Seattle, to hear thoughts and career tips, from Amazon Games leaders to the latest class of interns.
