The version 2.0 update for Honkai: Star Rail, dubbed “If One Dreams at Midnight,” will launch on February 6, developer miHoYo announced.

SNK will release a major update for The King of Fighters XV on January 30 which adds the “Advance Strike” system, the developer announced.

Real-time / turn-based hybrid premium 3D RPG Ex Astris will launch for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play on February 27 for $9.99, publisher GRYPHLINE and Hypergryph Network Technology developer Nous Wave Studio announced.

Open-world survival crafting adventure game Omega Crafter will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on March 28, developer Preferred Netwroks announced. A limited-time public demo will be available from today until February 13.

While I wouldn’t say I’m bad at games by any stretch, I know a game I’ll be bad at when I see one. NanoApostle is one such game, and the frenetic boss rush actioner from developer18Light Game (Pronty) is due out on PC in summer 2024. 

Sony has announced that Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will launch on March 21st for PC at $59.99. Pre-orders are live for the port, developed by Nixxes Software and Guerrilla Games.

Poker-inspired roguelike deckbuilder Balatro will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on February 20, publisher Playstack and developer LocalThunk announced. A PC demo is available now.

High-speed action platformer Berserk Boy will launch for Switch and PC via Steam on March 6, developer BerserkBoy Games announced.

Islands of Insight will launch for PC via Steam on February 13 for $29.99, publisher Behaviour Interactive and developer Lunarch Studios announced. A new demo will be available during Steam Next Fest: February 2024 from February 5 to 12, but users can register on the official website from February 2 to 4 to receive an early access code.

Skateboarding roguelite action game Helskate will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on February 15, developer Phantom Coast announced.

Metroidvania-style puzzle platformer Airhead will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, and Luna on February 12 for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.49, publisher HandyGames and developers Octato and Massive Miniteam announced. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch versions will follow at a later date.

Xbox has announced the launch of an entirely new program, designed to bring attention to indie games on its storefront. As announced in an Xbox Wire post, the program called 'Indie Selects' will change its displayed games to keep a consistent rotation of some of the best indie games available, so you'll never be short of new adventures. 

Earth Defense Force 6 will launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on March 14 in Asia with English, Korean, and Chinese audio, and English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text support, publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment announced.

For some time now, fans of survival games have had their eye on Enshrouded, the new game from the makers of Portal Knights that’s a little bit Zelda, and more than a little bit Valheim. Nintendo has announced a release date for Splatoon 3’s Side Order DLC.

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior will launch for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 13 for $24.99 / €24.99, publisher Quantic Dream and developer Sand Door Studio announced. From February 13 to 20, it will be available at a launch discount price of $19.99 / €19.99. A demo wil lbe available from February 5 to 12 as part of Steam Next Fest: February 2024.

Splatoon 3’s Expansion Pass was announced a year ago now, with Nintendo confirming that it would be bringing new content to the shooter in two waves of content. The first wave, Inkopolis Plaza, launched in February last year, with Nintendo confirming that Wave 2, Side Order, would be out sometime in Spring 2024. Now, the expansion’s got a confirmed release date.

Splatoon 3 downloadable content “Expansion Pass – Side Order” will launch on February 22, Nintendo announced.

Publisher Xseed Games has confirmed that the retro-inspired platformer Freedom Planet 2 is coming to consoles later this year.

Freedom Planet 2 will launch on April 4th GalaxyTrail and Marvelous Europe has confirmed today, with the game set to be release for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. The new trailer shows the four protagonists that players can play as, and these include Lilac, Carol, or Milla, and a new playable character called Neera.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut will launch for iPhone 15 Pro and all iPads and Macs with M-series chips via App Store on January 30 for $39.99, publisher 505 Games and developer Kojima Productions announced. Pre-orders are available now at a 50 percent-off $19.99 price point.

GalaxyTrail’s action platformer Freedom Planet 2 is out on April 4th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It will be available digitally for $24.99 with cross-buy supported on PlayStation and Smart Delivery on Xbox platforms. Check out the latest trailer below.

Nintendo eShop pre-orders are currently available at a 10 percent-off discount price. The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions support cross-buy, and the Xbox release supports Smart Delivery.

Publisher Pineapple Works and developer Nicolas Petton will launch a Kickstarter campaign for pixel art action adventure RPG Dreamed Away on February 1, the companies announced. The game itself is planned for release for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in Q1 2025. A PC demo is available now.

After its end-game showcase showing how Incursion Missions work in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady finally explained the story behind them in Insider episode 3. It also confirmed that Season 1 would launch in March and include The Joker as a new playable character.

It features a brand new 2K Showcase and multiple iconic Legends on its roster like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Andre the Giant and the Undertaker with stars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley and more. miHoYo has announced the next update for Genshin Impact – Version 4.4, “Vibrant Harriers Aloft in Spring Breeze.” It goes live on January 31st and features the return of the Lantern Rite in Liyue, with a new area, Chenyu Vale, becoming available. Check out the trailer below.

As part of Xbox’s Developer Direct, Square Enix Ltd. shared exciting details about Visions of Mana™, marking the first mainline entry in the Mana series in over 15 years. During the developer showcase, Mana Series Producer Masaru Oyamada and Mana Series Creator Koichi Ishii introduced players to the reimagined world of Mana. They provided insights into the game’s development process and showcased its action-packed gameplay. Scheduled for a Summer 2024 release, Visions of Mana will be available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PC via STEAM®.

Machine Games’ Indiana Jones game received an official name and got its first gameplay showing during today’s Xbox Developer Direct. We also learned that it’s launching later this year. EW.com also confirmed that though Harrison Ford's likeness will appear in the game, he will be performed by Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite).

Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer ZeniMax Online Studios announced have announced The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, the next big expansion for the massively multiplayer online RPG. It will launch for PC on June 3, followed by PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 18.

First-person action RPG Avowed will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store this fall, publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Obsidian Entertainment announced. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the January 2021-announced Indiana Jones game from publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer MachineGames, will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2024, the companies announced. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.

Obsidian Entertainment gave us an in-depth look at Avowed during today’s Developer_Direct event and confirmed that the RPG will release in the fall.

After having showcased the likes of Avowed and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Microsoft chose to close its second Xbox Developer_Direct presentation with our first official look at MachineGames’ Indiana Jones title, as previously confirmed, revealing a host of new details on the highly anticipated title.

Obsidian Entertainment debuted some new details and gameplay for Avowed to kick off the Xbox Developer_Direct ’24. Players take on the role of the Envoy of the Aedyr Empire, who ventures to the Living Lands to investigate a magic plague. There’s plenty to discover, including a secret related to the player’s character.

At Microsoft’s second annual Xbox Developer_Direct, Ninja Theory’s highly anticipated Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 took the spotlight with members of the development team taking a deep dive into the action-adventure title and what players can expect to see from it.

Much like with Street Fighter 6 in Season 2, one of the big selling points of Exoprimal Season 3 is the Monster Hunter collaboration that Capcom has been promoting. The new season launches today, and it incorporates a pretty meaty amount of content.

EA has announced that Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia will be soft-launching for mobile today in select markets, with a full worldwide release happening later this year.

Crafting RPG Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story will launch for Switch and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on February 21 for $24.99, publisher Riot Forge and developer Lazy Bear Games announced. Pre-orders are now available and include an Bandle Scout Hat, Bandle Scout Poro, Evergreen Cottage, Yordle recipe, and more.

Multiplayer shoot ’em up party game MAGIC CHAOS will launch for PC via Steam on March 8, publisher Phoenixx and developer SUPER STARMINE announced.

Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Utomik on March 26, publisher Wired Productions and developer Tomas Sala announced. A demo will be available for all platforms on January 30.

Square Enix's foam-drenched online shooter is going live next month and it will be a PlayStation Plus monthly game. For those subscribers looking to add it to their library, or for non-subscribers looking to purchase the game outright, Foamstars launches exclusively on PlayStation 4 and 5 on February 6.

Square Enix has announced that its 4v4 online party shooter Foamstars will release on February 6th for PS4 and PS5. A new trailer is available, showcasing the gameplay and confirming three modes – Smash the Star, Happy Bath Survival and a new addition, Rubber Duck Party. Check it out below.

11bit Studios confirmed that Frostpunk 2 will be released on PC sometime during the first half of 2024 and will be on Game Pass from day one alongside the first full gameplay reveal for the highly anticipated survival city-builder.

Frostpunk 2 will launch for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG in the first half of 2024, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date, publisher and developer 11 bit studios announced. It will be available for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass upon release.

Four-versus-four foam party shooter FOAMSTARS will launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on February 6 for $29.99, publisher Square Enix and developer Toylogic announced. It will launch as part of the Monthly Games lineup for PlayStation Plus members, meaning it will be available to download and keep at no extra cost between February 6 and March 4.

Bethesda has already laid out their update schedule for Starfield in 2024, which includes updates every six weeks beginning in February. There's an update coming before that, however, and arriving on the Steam beta branch next week. It won't add major new features but includes "over 100 fixes and improvements".

Sand Land, the video game adaptation of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama’s manga of the same name, has a release date and a new trailer setting up the story.

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA will release Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on February 6 worldwide and February 7 in Japan for 7,480 yen, the companies announced.

In June last year, Bandai Namco announced SAND LAND, an action RPG based on Akira Toriyama’s classic short manga series, being developed by Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and One Piece Odyssey developer ILCA. Now, the Japanese publisher has announced when the game will launch.
