At TGA 2023, Nexon announced the release window for its free-to-play cooperative looter shooter, The First Descendant. The game will be released in Summer 2024 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. The news was accompanied by a cinematic trailer featuring characters Valby and Viessa, as well as a new mysterious face.

After a delay to the second half of 2024, Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced a new release date for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. It’s launching on September 9th, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Check out the latest trailer below.

The first trailer for GTA 6, which was scheduled to premiere tomorrow on YouTube at 9AM ET, has been shared by Rockstar ahead of schedule, thanks to a massive leak online from an anonymous Twitter account earlier today.

Publisher THQ Nordic and Charleroi-based developer Appeal Studios (which also released Gangs of Sherwood a few days ago) have just unveiled the release date for Outcast: A New Beginning. The sequel to 1999's seminal open world action/adventure game will be released on March 15, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. As usual, the PC version will be cheaper (SRP of €59.99 / $59.99 / £49.99 compared to the console's SRP of €69.99 / $69.99 / £59.99).

Outcast: A New Beginning will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on March 15, 2024, publisher THQ Nordic and developer Appeal Studios announced. It will cost $69.99 / £59.99 / €69.99 on console, and $59.99 / £49.99 / €59.99 on PC.

The Switch version of romance visual novel Amairo Chocolate will launch on March 28, 2024, publisher dramatic create and developer Cabbage Soft announced. In Japan it will cost 5,280 yen.

Mortal Kombat 1 downloadable content character Quan Chi will launch on December 14 for Kombat Pack owners and December 21 for all users, publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer NetherRealm Studios announced. Additionally, guest character Peacemaker will launch in February 2024.

DNF DUEL downloadable content character Battle Mage (voiced by Nanami Yamashita) will launch on December 18, publisher Nexon, and developers Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting announced.

Pixel art puzzle adventure game Recolit will launch for PC via Steam on February 16, 2024, publisher Yokaze and publisher and developer Image Labo announced. A demo is available now.

Crustacean combat action game sequel Fight Crab 2 will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on February 13, 2024, publisher PLAYISM and developer Calappa Games announced. It will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.

Momodora: Moonlit Farewell will launch for PC via Steam on January 11, 2024, publisher PLAYISM and developer Bombservice announced.

Soulslike action RPG Flintlock: The Siege Dawn officially announced a new release window at yesterday's PC Gaming Show event. Capcom has announced that the free VR Mode for Resident Evil 4 Remake, exclusive to PlayStation VR2, will be available on December 8th. There will also be a free demo that PS5 players can download, which includes the Shooting Range and a “360-degree look” of the opening.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is scheduled for a 2025 release on Nintendo Switch.

Though the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is obviously Square Enix’s flagship Final Fantasy 7-related project right now, it’s not the only one, with Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis – a free-to-play reimagination of the PS1 classic and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 – also having been receiving its fair share of attention. Popular audio and wearable brand boAt has announced the launch of its latest true wireless (TWS) earbuds, the Immortal Katana Blade. The gaming earbuds add to the company's existing Immortal series of Bluetooth earphones.
