Lightyear Frontier launches in Early Access in March 2024

91Act has announced that their BlazBlue-flavored rougelite, BlazBlue Entropy Effect, leaves Early Access on PC on January 21, 2024.

Atari and Mega Cat Studios have released Food Fight: Culinary Combat, a multi-player reimagining of the somewhat bizarre 1983 arcade game, into Early Access. The catch is that, right now, it’s exclusively available on the Atari VCS.

After a decade in Early Access, Planet Management God Simulator The Universim is finally set for its full 1.0 release. Developer Crytivo revealed today that the God Sim will leave Early Access on January 22, 2024. Alongside a ton of improvements, the full release also introduces the space age which gives players access to advanced technology including the all-new planet cracker.

These days, fighting games live and die based on their online playerbase, and yet, Mortal Kombat 1 did not launch with crossplay support. Thankfully, that will change relatively soon though, as NetherRealm Studios announced in a recent livestream that crossplay between PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 will be coming in early 2024 (perhaps unsurprisingly, the ill-fated Switch version is left out).

Upcoming RTS from developer Frost Giant Studios is set to release in Early Access in the Summer of 2024. The PC-exclusive title had its release date revealed alongside a brief gameplay trailer at The Game Awards. Frost Giant Studios first revealed the RTS last year.

The Xbox Series version of Baldur’s Gate III is now available via Microsoft Store for $69.99, developer Larian Studios announced.

Yep, it's Shang-Chi actor Simu Liu, who took to the stage at tonight's Game Awards to announce he's not only a dab hand at Starcraft (handy), but that he's also the voice of its demonic Infernal Host chief, Warz. Yes, they actually named him Warz. Never changes, does it?

After facing a delay from its initial Spring 2023 release window, FRAME BREAK and Amplifier Game Invest have confirmed that Lightyear Frontier will enter early access in March 2024. It will be available for Xbox Series X/S via Game Preview and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Check out the latest trailer below.

Tomorrow, players will finally be able to check out The Day Before when it opens in Early Access. 

Mech-farming sim Lightyear Frontier has confirmed its release for next March, landing around a year after the delayed chill space game was originally meant to touch down on Planet PC.
