Warhorse Studios has today announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a PS5 sequel to the 2018 original. Set to release later this year, you can check out the reveal trailer above. The studio says it is a «bigger, better, and more ambitious» title that the team has grown to more than 250 employees to create. The sequel is pitched as the «passion project» Warhorse Studios always wanted to make, and is now making a reality with the correct resources.

Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update led to new peak concurrent records on Steam, with a whopping 236,614 players jumping in last month, per SteamDB. Developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has since released update 1.6.4, which contains bug fixes and improvements but also packs 40 new mine layouts.

Arguably the biggest gaming chair manufacturer, Secretlab has revealed a brand new collaboration for their current Titan models. The Singaporean company has announced today that they are teaming up with Oracle Red Bull Racing to bring the latest and finest to the gaming world. Sony has announced that PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium goes live on October 17th in Japan, October 23rd in Europe and October 30th in North America. There will be several titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog to stream, with “hundreds” of PS5 titles to support the same later.

Two months after PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers began receiving invites to a PlayStation 5 cloud streaming beta, Sony has announced the feature will be getting its full launch on on 23rd October in Europe and 30th October in the US.

After laying off almost 900 employees, Epic Games has announced an expansion to the Fortnite V-Buck «pricing alignment», citing vague financial factors like «inflation and currency fluctuations». The price of Fortnite's premium currency is set to rise in various international markets, including the world's largest.

Fortnite is to increase the price of its in-game currency V-Bucks in a number of countries, including the US and across Europe. While publisher Epic Games attributed the decision to economic factors - citing previous “pricing alignment” in countries including the UK over the summer - the move will follow hundreds of job losses at the company, partially as the result of lower than expected revenue for their immensely popular battle royale shooter.

Along with laying off almost 900 employees, Epic Games announced an increase to V-Bucks prices in Fortnite. Starting October 27th, the United States, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and more will be affected. The Witcher producer Tomasz Bagiński has reacted to the ongoing backlash that the Netflix series has faced for changing details from its source material. As many will be aware, the show is based on Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski’s series of books. While it broadly follows these, some elements have been changed, which has been a source of ire from some fans.

One of the most common criticisms of The Witcher on Netflix is that it strays too far from Andrzej Sapkowski's novels. It may have been a source of some tension behind the scenes, too: Former series star Henry Cavill made a point of saying he «pushed really, really hard» to stay true to the books, while also claiming that some of the writers on the show «actively disliked» them. There's no question that some aspects of the novel have been simplified for the TV show, and in an interview with Polish site Wyborcza (translated by Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence), executive producer Tomek Baginski explained why some of those changes were made: "[A] higher level of nuance and complexity will have a smaller range."
