In the wake of the release of Patch 1.3.3a of Diablo 4, which addresses issues with Leaderboard filtering and a bug affecting PlayStation users, some concerns mentioning an issue with the scoring and Leaderboard placement for players on local split-screen co-op have come to light. Players who opt to play together in local co-op are forced to share the same screen, which poses a huge issue when competing against teams in the same Leaderboard bracket who do not face such constraints. Those playing in groups on separate game clients may freely split up and kill more enemies simultaneously than their split-screen counterparts. Global Diablo Community Development Director Adam Fletcher responded to the concern on X (formerly known as Twitter), agreeing with the sentiment and stating that there would be an internal discussion of the topic.

Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 premiered in Season 2 to relatively solid approval from players. Between incredible power spikes from powers such as and leveling quality-of-life powers like, players were sad to see the removal of these abilities when Season of Blood ended. Thankfully, Blizzard has heard the players — and these bloodthirsty powers won't be gone for long. While we don't know which powers have made the cut, or what form they'll return in, we can at least make a few guesses. Malignant abilities from Season 1 of Diablo 4 made their return in the form of Unique Rings such as, allowing fan-favorites to become permanent core additions to the game. Last Epoch was enjoying a hugely successful 1.0 launch earlier this week with over 162,000 concurrent players and favorable comparisons to Diablo's hack 'n' slashing. All that success has unfortunately strained servers and caused multiplayer issues for those not playing offline, leading to some mixed user reviews, but the studio's founder has thanked the hundreds of thousands of fans for their "patience and kindness" anyway.

Battle-weary Diablo 4 and Path of Exile fans may finally have some common ground. Last Epoch has hacked and slashed its way out of a five-year Early Access period, and the 1.0 release of this ARPG strikes a fine balance between the approachability and high-speed action of Diablo 4 and the absurdly complex character-build diversity of Path of Exile. That’s thanks to a skill system that’s both easy to understand and offers tons of room to fine-tune your character however you’d like. Last Epoch’s roughly 20-hour campaign, however, only manages to start fresh before devolving into a derivative mess, though that’s somewhat forgivable when it’s basically just there to get you to its engaging endgame anyway. If you can stomach that, as well as some technical clunkiness that is most apparent in Last Epoch’s online multiplayer, the climb to level 100 is lined with mountains of great loot, fun fights, and meaningful power boosts that made it well worth sinking dozens of hours into.

Hell is more accessible than ever before — Diablo 4 has been revealed as coming to the PC Game Pass on March 28! Officially revealed during an episode of the Official Xbox Podcast, Diablo 4 will debut on the PC Game Pass on March 28. Players will be able to journey in Sanctuary even more easily than before — which was originally announced back in 2022, during a statement regarding the future of Game Pass after the Microsoft and ABK merger. While Diablo 4 is the first Activision Blizzard King title to debut on PC Game Pass, Sarah Bond, President of Xbox, had this to say regarding other titles:
