Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has announced the next «Amplifying Test» for Zenless Zone Zero, giving even more players a chance to try out the studio's new game early. First revealed in 2022, HoYoverse has already given fans plenty of teasers of what to expect from the next game from the Shanghai-based studio. Zenless Zone Zero boasts similar flashy action-oriented combat to Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, set against a futuristic big city aesthetic. Now, HoYoverse is rolling out the next round of beta tests for the upcoming action RPG.

Of all the predictions I could have made for 2024, a feature-length movie follow-up to 2020’s chaotic, vivid anime series Great Pretender certainly wasn’t one of them. The 23-episode heist comedy series, directed by Hiro Kaburagi (91 Days, Speed Grapher) and written by screenwriter Ryōta Kosawa, made a splash when it premiered on Netflix, earning its way onto best-of-the-year lists with its colorful characters and striking art direction. After nearly three years of silence, the series is returning with an all-new adventure playing in select American theaters only on Jan. 9 and 10, ahead of the Feb. 23 Japanese premiere.

Massive Entertainment’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has officially gone gold. Publisher Ubisoft announced the news on Twitter, crediting the developer and its worldwide co-development studios (which include Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai, Ubisoft Montpellier and many more).

The 4.2 livestream was postponed indefinitely by developer HoYoverse, a few hours before it started. The special event was due to happen this Friday morning (27) as a way of exhibiting all the new planned content for the next update of the popular action RPG. The game receives a new patch every six weeks and, two weeks prior to each update, HoYoverse holds a related livestream event so that players can check out the new character banners, story updates, limited-time events, and more.
