Remnant II developer Gunfire Games have announced the game’s second story expansion, The Forgotten Kingdom, will launch later this month. Much like the first chunk of Remnant II story DLC, The Forgotten Kingdom will add a new playable class, the Invoker, and expand the Yaesha biome with new areas to explore, bosses, and a fresh self-contained storyline. As anticipated earlier this month, the PC version of The Last of Us Part I has been updated to version 1.1.3 to add support for AMD FSR 3 Super Resolution and Frame Generation.

The first-person shooter RoboCop: Rogue City just got a new major update, and it looks like players will have even more fantastic content to explore. 

Developer Teyon has released a new update for RoboCop: Rogue City, bringing a much-awaited new feature to the game—New Game Plus. With the release of the update, players can now play through the entire story mode of the game again with all of their previously-unlocked skills and Auto-9 upgrades.

Teyon has announced that RoboCop: Rogue City is getting a content update that will include new game plus, a new difficulty, and an Auto9 skin. It’s available now on PC, with the console versions getting it tomorrow.

In its first major update of 2024, Teyon pulled back the curtain on a new update for RoboCop: Rogue City that went live on all available platforms. This new update added the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode, with a new cosmetic reward for players who unlock it, and a bonus difficulty to give RoboCop: Rogue City players an extra challenge.

RoboCop: Rogue City is likely the best game the action hero has ever starred in. That bar isn’t tough to hurdle, but the adventure delivers plenty of thrills for fans to be excited about. This narrative-driven first-person shooter has a loving reverence for the films and a good understanding of its protagonist, swinging for the fences with a lengthy original story, fun references, and plenty of enjoyably cheesy humor. Unfortunately, like the franchise’s vision of Detroit, Rogue City is very rough around the edges, resulting in a flawed hero but one that’s ultimately entertaining to patrol with.

I’ve been playing New Cycle, a bleak post-apocalyptic city builder, and I’ll have some thoughts on it next week. Besides that, I’ve been continuing my playthrough of TheWitcher 3 on Steam Deck, VR’ed my way further into Asgard’s Wrath 2, threw some punches in a spot of Street Fighter 6, and got in a hefty dose of Monster Hunter Rise that I’ve seen fit to restart from the beginning.

Robocop: Rogue City's combat feels like straight up murder: I totally lost it when I punched someone for the first time and Robocop's fist flew out with the force of a particle accelerator, instantly atomizing their skull. A few minutes later I had to take a breather after picking up a dumpster and squashing four guys into a corner with it, like it was a malevolent hydraulic press adorned with Oakleys and Punisher skull stickers. When taking out hordes of Detroit street trash, Robocop: Rogue City is an absolute blast, but brutally uneven pacing and a coma-inducing plot leave it in the same mediocre arena as the film's sequels.

The industry is starting 2024 in much the same way as it spent most of 2023, with news of layoffs and "for sale" signs and closures arriving alongside charts showing modest sales growth for the industry.

Given the positive word of mouth for Terminator: Resistance, it seemed a given that Teyon’s RoboCop: Rogue City would do well. Not only did it debut fourth in Gfk’s UK physical sales charts, but the first-person shooter also became publisher Nacon’s biggest launch yet. Interestingly, it took around three years to develop, per game director Piotr Łatocha in an interview with eXputer.

Today's a damn fine day for saving lots on "new hotness" titles and old gold too. In the first camp, we have scores like the surprisingly decent Robocop: Rogue City, the always terrific Tears of the Kingdom, and the spectacular Spider-Man 2. In the latter category, you can scoop timeless Bethesda RPGs, a few Star Warses, and Switch AAAs that rarely swoop this low. Wherever you are, there's a good to fair chance it's probably way too hot outside—so get gaming instead.

However, you’re in luck if you finished the game and are not ready to part ways from Old Detroit. A New Game Plus mode is coming soon.

The Gfk has released (via GamesIndustry) the latest weekly physical sales data for the United Kingdom, as per which Hogwarts Legacy was the best-selling game in the region last week, thanks to a combination of the launch of its Nintendo Switch version and Black Friday discounts. In fact, as per GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring, the open world RPG has enjoyed the 2023’s third-biggest physical launch for a Switch title in the UK, behind only The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. 

Welcome to November, the mild hangover after October’s proverbial keg stand of awesome games. Even for a quieter month, if you gave the November’s game release calendar a thwap with the ol’ broom, a few huge AAA-tier games would drop to the ground. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario RPG, and more will kick up a cloud that overshadows the arrival of smaller games — potentially great ones, even, from developers you might’ve heard of and new indie creators alike.

The dens of the criminal underworld in have safes in different locations requiring codes to open if you want to progress on a certain quest. Managing to confiscate the items inside each safe depends on Officer Murphy's skills, which you've invested in. To reduce crime in the city, Robocop will have to search for secrets not just as a weapon of the law but as a competent detective.

Developed by Teyon and published by Nacon, RoboCop: Rogue City marks the return of Peter Weller to his iconic role as he voices RoboCop in this arcade first-person shooter. In addition, this is the first time in nearly 20 years that the tinman has had his own video game. But has it been worth the wait? Well, that depends on if players are prepared to temper their expectations on what’s clearly not an expensively produced game.

Sony’s first pair of true wireless earbuds designed for the PlayStation 5 will arrive on shelves early next month, and I’ve been testing them out over the last couple of days. The $199.99 Pulse Explore earbuds offer lossless, ultra-low-latency audio when using the company’s new PlayStation Link wireless protocol. With most devices such as a PS5, PC, or Mac, that’ll require plugging in the included USB dongle. But Sony has baked support for PlayStation Link directly into its new PlayStation Portal handheld streaming gadget.

On the surface, a RoboCop video game seems like a very straightforward premise—fight bad guys as a cyborg cop and uphold the law in dystopian '80s America. However, most of RoboCop's game appearances didn't quite focus on the social satire and gray morality of Paul Verhoeven's 1987 film, instead leaning on a shooter experience.

We are a week into November and the penultimate month of the year brings another healthy lineup of game releases. Super Mario Bros. Wonder has enjoyed widespread praise from critics and audiences since its release, and as you’d expect from a Mario game, it’s also enjoying commercial success to match. The game debuted strongly in the UK’s weekly retail charts upon its release, while last week, it climbed into the charts’ top spot. This week, as noted by GamesIndustry’s Christopher Dring on social media platform X, the game has held on to the top spot (though its physical sales are apparently still “quite low”.).

Developed by Teyon, is a great game and everything an adaptation could wish to be. Set between the events of and, sees the titular cyborg embark on a journey in Old Detroit in which he seeks to clean up the city by taking on gangs and dangerous criminals. Furthermore, the decisions RoboCop makes, have serious repercussions throughout the game, one of the most important decisions comes right at the end — what to do with the final boss.

With so many great games coming out in October, and even more upcoming, your bank account might want a bit of a break, pleading with you, «Is RoboCop: Rogue City on Game Pass?» — or at least imploring you to find the best price deals and cheap ways to play the game.

Developer Teyon should be applauded, not just for making an enjoyable, substantive game that outshines most other attempts at this IP, but for taking such delicate care of the character and his world, resulting in possibly the finest overall narrative since the original film. The subtlest details of the art direction and sound design are a knockout, supported by a solid, if somewhat simple, FPS and action-RPG framework. The resultant package feels custom-built for devotees, overstuffed with tributes at nearly every step of the story, effectively surpassing its occasional misstep or bug.
