Only the very best video game characters get the honor of being turned into statues and sold to their biggest fans. The Witcher's Geralt is so popular, he may well be able to boast more collectible statues than any other character in gaming. I can't confirm that, but I can clue you in on yet another Witcher statue coming in 2025. That might seem like a long time to wait for a statue, but trust me, this is no ordinary statue.

Well that’s exactly what the upcoming Octopia DLC is planning to do as it brings John and Sam together in an alternate world where the chaos hasn’t happened and instead their new life together begins on a cozy little farm! Here in Octopia the two will do such activities as planting and harvesting crops, fishing, hunting for materials and even getting to know the neighbors down the street. It’s a big shift in tone, but honestly quite the nice way to enjoy more time with these wonderful characters we’ve come to know and love. As we get ever closer to the release of Tekken 8, gamers are intrigued by all the characters being shown off. Today, a familiar face made his return to the game via Sergei Dragunov. He’s the “White Reaper,” a serial killer who never says a word, and yet he’s one of the deadliest people you’ll find in the game. Outside of his lack of speaking, Sergei is known for embracing the Russian combat style to ensure massive damage to foes through brutal attacks. This is something that is made very clear in his reveal trailer, as he whoops multiple people with ease.

The previous generation ASTRO headsets were a premiere line offering excellent quality and a base with a mixer. Logitech has now joined in bringing its technology to the A50 with the ASTRO A50 X. This headset isn’t just compatible with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but is actually interchangeable allowing the same headset to be used on multiple platforms. The A50 X will keep the same design integrity as seen in the previous ASTRO A50, and joins the A30 headset with incorporating Logitech’s wireless technology. This new A50 will take everything fans loved from the previous generation and incorporate even better technology to improve the experience.

The next two sets for Magic: The Gathering take on the flavor of a classic murder mystery with Murders at Karlov Manor, launching on Feb. 9, and Ravnica: Clue Edition, launching February 23. The sets are very deliberately inspired by the latest edition of the popular board game, Clue, which features more than a few glammed-up murderers to thirst over. Of course, in classic Magic style, these sets will instead feature several well-appointed astral sleuths as they attempt to unravel an unfortunate incident that took place on the titular Karlov estate.

Homeworld 3 won't be released in February 2024 due to another delay. The game was originally targeting a Q4 2022 launch before being moved to the first half of 2023 and then again to early 2024. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is Capcom’s first $70 game.

Steamforged Games, known for its lavish strategy board games based on Japanese-made video games, is back with another take on Dark Souls. This time it’s a spin-off cooperative game titled Dark Souls: The Board Game — The Sunless City, with “refreshed rules driven by community feedback.” If that’s the case, it could help revitalize what has been a challenging franchise for the British publisher.

The highly anticipated Dragon’s Dogma 2 has confirmed a scheduled launch date. Additionally, the upcoming sequel is now available for pre-order. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is scheduled for a release date of March 22 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Seriex X|S. In Dragon’s Dogma 2, players will once again be stepping into the boots of the Arisen, a hero whose heart has been stolen by the dragon. This will sound familiar to fans of the 2012 original but the sequel takes place in a parallel world where two nations have different approaches to the dragon threat. In the kingdom of Vermund Queen Regent Disa has installed a false Arien to maintain of the kingdom for her son. The nation of Battahl views the otherworldly Pawns as a source of misfortune and have begun worshipping the Lambert Flame and their empress Nadinia in hopes of staving off calamity.

The critically acclaimed action-adventure game Batman: Arkham Knight is getting a new update very soon. 

The open world pirate multiplayer game Skull and Bones might be only two and a half months away from launching, at long last. The rumor appeared a few hours ago on Insider Gaming, which cited anonymous sources also confirming the existence of a Premium Edition.

Dungeons & Dragons’ highly anticipated launch of The Deck of Many Things was delayed in October when publisher Wizards of the Coast discovered defects in early copies sent to Polygon and other outlets for review. A new batch of products is being manufactured, the publisher announced on Monday, and the United States’ launch date has been moved to Jan. 5.

In a post on Twitter, Square Enix revealed that the previously mobile-only title Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis has been published to Steam and will be released on the platform later. The Gacha-style game revisits the story of Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core while also telling a new original story about Sephiroth in his younger days.

Every year it's the same. I spend the final week of November ravenously hunting through Black Friday PS5 deals to surface the biggest offers on the latest games all while feeling a slight twang of regret at giving into my itch to buy on day one. 2023 has been kind to my growing physical collection, I've been melting zombies in Dead Island 2 (finally), sweating my way through Dead Space, casting all manner of the wrong spells in Hogwarts Legacy, and creeping through Baghdad in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Not wanting to miss out, I've spent a total of $329.95 to play all these games from the moment they launched. So it's difficult to realize I could have saved $135 if I'd waited for this year's Black Friday offers - and got some extra Dead Island swag in the process.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is getting a physical Deluxe Edition next year, developer Larian Studios has announced.

Larian has opened preorders for an $80 physical Deluxe Edition version of Baldur's Gate 3 on PC, PS5, and Xbox. The new variant comes with disc copies of the game and soundtrack, as well as assorted «feelies» like stickers and a poster, all in a glorious throwback case that feels like the PC big boxes of yesteryear. The Deluxe Edition is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2024.
