The previous generation ASTRO headsets were a premiere line offering excellent quality and a base with a mixer. Logitech has now joined in bringing its technology to the A50 with the ASTRO A50 X. This headset isn’t just compatible with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but is actually interchangeable allowing the same headset to be used on multiple platforms. The A50 X will keep the same design integrity as seen in the previous ASTRO A50, and joins the A30 headset with incorporating Logitech’s wireless technology. This new A50 will take everything fans loved from the previous generation and incorporate even better technology to improve the experience.
The dock, or base, offers video passthrough as this is required for the audio. It uses HDMI 2.1, which the consoles use. to allow high-resolution 24-bit audio and 4K video up to 120 Hz. Both an Xbox Series and PS5 can be connected at the same time. This also allows for Auto Low Latency Mode and Variable Refresh Rate, so there will be no loss of features from the consoles, themselves. Both PC and Mac can be connected via USB-C so seamless connectivity and switching is allowed. PlayStation 5 will take advantage of game/chat mixing and 3D Audio while Xbox Series will add Dolby Atmos spacial 3D surround sound.
Logitech has incorporated its pro-grade LIGHTSPEED wireless to the actual headset. This will bring improved sound quality, reliability and maximum battery life efficiency to the headset, itself. The A50 can go up to 15 meters away from the dock, and will click back in with a satisfying click that uses magnets to help charge the headset. PLAYSYNC is what Logitech is calling the tech to allow seamless switching between devices, and the Base Station includes Bluetooth connectivity for phone audio. To top it off, the high resolution 16-bit 48 kHz LIGHTSPEED mic uplink will bring increased quality to chat audio.
The ASTRO A50X is available for pre-order now with an MSRP of $379.00 with a choice of either black or white for the setup. Players can also adjust their gaming audio experience within the G HUB gaming software on PC, or use the Logitech G App on their iOS/Android device. Custom EQ presets are available or the option to deep dive into plenty of equalizer settings that also includes microphone resolution and noise reduction settings. All audio will come from the PRO-G GRAPHENE audio drivers as their lightweight design helps to reduce distortion. Both Logitech and ASTRO have put their cards on the table to maximize the A50 X.

In Flesh and Blood’s latest expansion, Heavy Hitters, the trading card game introduces a brand-new hero named Betsy. Set against the backdrop of a fight club known as Rathe’s Death Match Arena, few competitors elicit the kind of fear and respect that she does. While other fighters have come and gone over the years, Betsy was born to this life — raised in the arena’s shadows. She embodies the determination, hedonism, and excitement that make its gladiatorial spectacle the only place where combatants can be guaranteed to win big or lose it all. Those odds are an excellent match for her signature mechanic, called wager, which invites players to bet against their opponents for increasingly complex and rewarding combat encounters.
A word of caution to trainers usingPokémon Scarlet andViolet’s new Synchro Machine: The nifty feature that allows you play as a Pokémon will also let you knock out shiny Pokémon. So if you’re into shiny hunting, just make sure you take a closer look each time you decide to fight a wild Pokémon while using the mode.
It's looking increasingly unlikely Starfield will have the quite same kind of longevity as its Bethesda RPG stablemates, but that isn't discouraging the studio from continuing to tinker with the space adventure's core — and one intriguing addition Bethesda has now confirmed is that «new ways of traveling» are coming at some point in 2024.

Although Remedy’s latest narrative-driven project didn’t end up bringing home the Game of the Year award at last night’s Game Awards, it did walk away with several other victories, including Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Narrative.
When Untitled Goose Game debuted back in 2019, its quirky charms quickly made it an internet sensation and put its developer, House House, on the map as an indie developer. So after 2023, folks might be cautious about any new game that combines Arkane and vampires, and rightfully so. But at The Game Awards tonight, Arkane Lyon – AKA the ones behind the Dishonored games and Deathloop – came and debuted their latest game with Bethesda, which featured a cinematic with a barbershop in Paris that had a lot of crucifixes and a creepy atmosphere. At the end, though, the customer in this barbershop was revealed to be none other than one Eric Brooks, AKA Blade. Yep, Marvel’s favorite daywalker is officially getting a new game, as seen below.

The game that started it all and brought Daniel Mullins’ name to the forefront of wierd, wonderful and downright unusual meta-narrative games, Pony Island, is getting a sequel. Seven years on from when the brilliant 2016 game released, the teaser for what Mullins was concocting was, in typical fashion, a surreal one. A mixture of art-styles, from pixel art to polygonal early-3D graphics to FMV-styled cutscenes, ran amok amid a game that too looked to be hopping from one genre to the next.
