It appears that some retailers may be canceling a few physical releases of Xbox games. Reports of these cancelations come ahead of the upcoming Xbox business update, which will respond to rampant rumors and speculation about the company's role in the broader games market.

GameStop shares are trading up sharply this week after meme stock personality Keith Gill, also known as Roaring Kitty, made his first social media post on Twitter/X in almost three years Sunday night.

GameStop may begin purchasing graded Pokémon cards at a select number of retail locations soon, according to store associates. If true, the move would make the retailer one of the single largest buyers of graded collectibles with nearly 3,000 potential retail locations in the United States for consumers to sell their cards. Rumors first began circulating Thursday, via PokéBeach. Polygon has reached out to GameStop’s press team for comment.

The amiibo wheel has been turning quicker than usual for the last few weeks. Between new figures being announced and others getting release dates, there has been a lot for collectors to keep an eye on, especially if you want to bag the figures before they quickly sell out. Among the amiibos to have gone up for pre-order this month are Zelda and Ganondorf's Tears of the Kingdom models, and now Link's amiibo is back in stock too.

Funko Pop! figures aren't just for superheroes and video game characters. McDonald's has been around long enough and somehow has a big enough cast of characters to have a few Funko Pops of its own. Earlier this year, Funko and the fast food chain revealed four McNugget Pop! figures that would be released in time for Halloween. That promise has been kept and all four of the chicken-based collectibles are now on sale at GameStop.

The Nintendo Switch's run might be coming to an end, although there's still no official confirmation on if that's the case or when it might happen, but that doesn't mean new games and accessories aren't still coming our way for the console.
