A cataclysmic event struck Taiwan, including the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer TSMC, as it was forced to evacuate staff and stop production thanks to a massive earthquake, which, according to a recent update by NPR, hit near the eastern city of Hualien at 7:58AM local time. With a magnitude of 7.4, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, it is the strongest earthquake to hit the island in 25 years. A company spokesperson said that upon initial inspection, the construction appeared to be normal, but regular work at the sites was suspended. A statement has also been given below.

With this week's Cataclysm Beta build, Blizzard has added more optional assets to the client in the shape of upscale resolution textures for the game. These are not currently usable by players in the beta but are dataminable. While normal WoW textures are 64x64 pixels, these new uprezzed textures are 256x256 pixels, or 16 times more detailed. Below are a couple of examples. These textures represent an extra 30 gigabytes of storage space compared to the normal client. However, we datamined some strings in the first build that indicate that these will be optional, so most players likely won't need to download them if they aren't looking to use them. Remember that Blizzard still hasn't announced anything definitive about upscaled graphics, but there were talks at BlizzCon about them, so we may see them in Cataclysm. The Ghostbusters are back in theaters with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. SNK’s library of fighting franchises tend bleed into each other a bit, but back in the day, the company was best-known for the Fatal Fury series. Eventually, the King of Fighters series, which included characters from multiple SNK games, largely supplanted Fatal Fury, but now we’re getting a Furious return. While they teased it previously, today SNK officially announced Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will combine classic gameplay with the new “REV” system. Much like Street Fighter 6, the new Fatal Fury will also introduce a more casual “Smart Style” mode that will allow you to easily pull off special moves.
