Zenless Zone Zero is the next action-RPG from Genshin Impact developers HoYoverse. Where Genshin is all Zelda-style pastoral greens, Zenless is an urban fantasy. It's expected to release sometime in the first half of 2024, and you can now pre-register on all platforms.

HoYoverse has opened signups for a PlayStation 5 technical test for its upcoming fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero.

The registrations for ’s Technical Test are now open, but interested players need to act fast to ensure they have a chance at testing out the new game created by HoYoverse., also referred to as, is an action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic urban fantasy world. In it, players take on the role of a Proxy, which is the main protagonist and their role is somewhat similar to the Traveler’s from. Like most of HoYoverse’s titles, this is a gacha, where players obtain new characters to add to their team comps.

miHoYo has announced that a Zenless Zone Zero PS5 technical test is on the way, with registrations now open for the studio’s latest ARPG for a limited time.

HoYoverse have announced that sign-ups for Zenless Zone Zero's next closed beta test are now available. While the start and end dates of the next closed beta haven't been unveiled just yet, we do know that there's going to be a new character to play, a new faction, new missions, and overhauls to the game's combat and exploration. I'd imagine it's worth a look if you're into Genshin Impact, or are into your anime fights. Either one will suffice.

2023 was a good year for MMORPGs. Even without a major new MMO release, we saw plenty of good expansions hit older MMOs. Even with the expansion hoopla, I spent less time playing MMOs in 2023 than in any year since 2004. I just couldn't pull myself away from all of the great single-player and co-op titles that were released this year. Baldur’s Gate 3, a  trip back to Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Motorsport, and several other great games took every minute of gaming I had available.

Hoyoverse (MiHoYo) is one of the hottest publishers in the mobile gaming space right now. While its titles like Honkai Impact 3rd and Guns Girl Z were popular in Southeast Asia and China, they never quite broke into the global market like the publisher’s more recent titles.Genshin Impact continues to be a global phenomenon, and Honkai: Star Rail is also reaching similar levels of success and recognition. Star Rail has reportedly crossed USD 1 Billion already.Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is Hoyoverse’s third major player in the global market, and it is set to release in 2024.

Despite being announced in May 2022, there’s still an aura of mystery surrounding Zenless Zone Zero, miHoYo Games’ next action title. A closed beta starts today at 11 AM (UTC+8) for PC, iOS and Android. Everyone else can see a sleek new trailer showcasing some of the new characters. Check it out below.

Zenless Zone Zero, the next big action title from miHoYo Games, doesn’t have a release date. However, its Equalizing Test Server is now open, with the closed beta going live on November 24th at 11 AM (UTC+8) for PC, iOS and Android. An end time will be revealed later.

miHoYo Games’ upcoming action RPG Zenless Zone Zero has received a new stylish gameplay trailer. There’s still no release date, but sign-ups are available for the next closed beta on PC, iOS and Android. It will offer additional areas and characters along with revamped combat mechanics.

miHoYo has announced the second closed beta test for urban fantasy action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, also known as the “Equalizing Test.” It will run across PC, iOS, and Android. Sign-ups are available now at the game’s official website. A kick-off date and schedule will be announced later on.

PlayStation has rolled out a new rating system, letting people grade the games they play on a five-star scale. YouTuber Modern Vintage Gamer has uncovered an unreleased Crash vs. Spyro Racing game for the original Xbox. Developed by Argonaut in 2003/2004, this crossover never saw the light of day as the studio, unfortunately, closed down. However, 20 years later, we now have a glimpse at gameplay, an intro cinematic featuring the two platforming mascots, and the title screen.

Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101 director Hideki Kamiya announced in a tweet that he is leaving PlatinumGames on October 12, later this year; "This came after a lot of consideration based on my own beliefs, and was by no means an easy decision to make. However, I feel this outcome is for the best. I will continue to create in my Hideki Kamiya way. I hope you'll keep your eyes peeled."

miHoYo will release a console version of urban fantasy action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, the developer announced.

HoYoverse, the developer of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, shared an update on its next game Zenless Zone Zero during Gamescom Opening Night Live – but there was no date or confirmation of consoles. The self-described urban action RPG showed off a bunch of characters and environmental art, including several arcade-style minigames you’ll presumably be able to play to pass the time.

We got a glimpse of Zenless Zone Zero during Gamescom Opening Night Live, but the trailer maybe wasn’t the best introduction to the title for those unfamiliar with the release. This gameplay showcase does a much better job of showing off the title, demonstrating its life-sim style lobby where you can play arcade games and manage a VHS store through to its character action combat.

HoYoverse made a splash during the Opening Night Live stream at Gamescom today. Not only did they present Genshin Impact andHonkai: Star Rail content, but they brought a trailer and some details about ARPG Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ), which they announced last year but have otherwise been quiet about. 

It takes some real detective work to figure out the mystery that is Zenless Zone Zero, the upcoming action (roguelike?) game from Genshin Impact developer MiHoYo.

When Genshin Impact dropped back in 2020, it was a lifeline to many of us. Lockdown kept us indoors with little cash in our wallets, so a happy and colourful free-to-play game seemed just what the proverbial doctor would order.
