HoYoVerse Reveals Trailer and Update on Zenless Zone Zero, Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail at Gamescom

Freminet is the second 4-Star Fontaine character introduced in Genshin Impact. Running alongside Zhongli and Childe, Freminet is a Cryo Claymore character who can actually take advantage of Physical DMG.

Phase 2 of Genshin Impact Version 4.0 brings us a blast from the past. After a long wait, Zhongli and Tartaglia (also known as Childe) return to the event banner. Despite being from Snezhnaya, Tartaglia needs materials from Liyue…probably because he lives there full-time.

A new Alan Wake 2 gameplay trailer is here with 11 minutes of footage, and although I'm sure it's crammed with references and callbacks to older Remedy games, what I'm most hyped about is that it confirms Ahti from Control is back and still singing his lovely Finnish music.

Electronic Arts has revealed its first World Rally Championship (WRC) game.

As the free 5-Star character in Genshin Impact, the Traveler’s Constellation acts differently than all the other characters. Instead of getting more than one Traveler – completely impossible – you receive Constellation Activation Materials through various in-game tasks. Each version of the Traveler has a different Constellation set.

Since the game’s release, Genshin Impact has been in the spotlight for several bug exploits and new hacks. A new Co-op hack using the four-star Dendro character Kaveh and a third-party plug-in has been making the rounds on the Genshin Impact online forums over the last several days.

Currently, Genshin Impact has guaranteed everyone at least one Lynette through the limited-time event, “The Curtain Never Falls On Magic.” Unlike Lyney, you’ll need to travel all over Fontaine for Lynette’s Ascension materials. However, you don’t need to dive to get everything. You can ignore the underwater and underground content if that’s too overwhelming. But Lynette is fantastic for your underwater exploration, so you’ll want her on your team at some point.

As the first 5-Star Fontaine character introduced in Genshin Impact, Lyney needs Ascension materials solely from Fontaine. Lyney doesn’t need anything found underwater, so you don’t need to use the diving mechanic or explore two floors of caves.

Genshin Impact gamers were left stunned after hearing reports of a gamebreaking, yet undeniably amusing hack involving Kaveh that allowed players to delete in-game objects and bosses from the game. And by deleting, we mean deleting. Kaveh, a beloved Dendro character renowned for his goofiness and bumbling personality, was turned into a horrifying villain in-game as he was able to wipe away certain features of the game permanently in co-op mode. While no one could expect Kaveh to turn into an asset assassin, HoYoverse has issued a prompt statement and fixed the issue.

HoYoverse, the developer of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, shared an update on its next game Zenless Zone Zero during Gamescom Opening Night Live – but there was no date or confirmation of consoles. The self-described urban action RPG showed off a bunch of characters and environmental art, including several arcade-style minigames you’ll presumably be able to play to pass the time.

We got a glimpse of Zenless Zone Zero during Gamescom Opening Night Live, but the trailer maybe wasn’t the best introduction to the title for those unfamiliar with the release. This gameplay showcase does a much better job of showing off the title, demonstrating its life-sim style lobby where you can play arcade games and manage a VHS store through to its character action combat.
